Champions League Spoilers 21st/22nd Feb

Wooooooooyeeeeeeeeah :D

Cracking result result for Barca, thoroughly deserved. All I can say is, it was best Del Horno did get sent off as Messi would have made him look like a fool for the rest of the game!:D Chelsea couldn't handle him, would have thought Mourinho would have watched out for this kid, his tactics never really took him into consideration, well not as much as i have though he would. Good to see him start off too, as he seemed to be super sub at Barca but he has more skill than that...

Messi is a genius, this is the real mccoy, Have been saying it for ages that this is the kid to watch out for, now the English know about it, there will be non-stop talk about him ;) Seriously though, this is a true Maradona in the making, the ball sticks to his feet, Going to be a revelation for Argentina in the WC, cant wait.

I don't think the Chelsea fans can complain about the refereeing decisions either, yes the ref was shocking but it went both ways.

Good result for Inter, two away goals for them, shut up shop at the San Siro then ;) of course not!
What a cracking goal from Nedved, full of composure, a decent result fro them, one which they will get through at home.

Rangers are going out.

HAHAHA at Mourinho, what the hell was he having a go at Sky Sports presenters for :D I don't like them either but he is just comical. He looked well cut up.

You talk a load of complete garbage if you don't mind me saying. They're not hated by the press. The press love Chelsea, Abramovich and Mourinho because they sell newspapers.

I also doubt that Chelsea are hated by 'football fans alike'. Personally, i find it hard to hate Chelsea. Mourinho has been a breath of fresh air since taking over Chelsea. I'm sick of jealous people like you who suddenly are filled with hatred just because someone is successful.

From the posts ive read of yours, you seem to lack any real knowledge of football. Get over your Liverpool bias and take those blinkers off.

Hey calm down. Liverpool bias? Mourinho yes was a breath of fresh air when he came, but now people are sick of his whining. Dont get me wrong he is a brilliant manager as is Benitez, but why bring liverpool into the post match interview? Smells of sour grapes im afraid.

Im not jealous at all; i just dont like the way chelsea play football, thats my opinion. Im not a fan of the way Essien plays; the guy has bags of talent but he kicks other players, why doesnt he just play football and show people how good he is as he did last year with Lyon. Del Horno was the same today, and that play makes me sick. Its not football. Let the football do the talking and Barcelona did that today.

Chelsea are still a better team than liverpool as they are more consistent.

I saw the game with about 200-300 other people at a Uni bar and all were singing and dancing when Eto scored, so to say football fans dont feel the same then you are wrong. Funnily enough i was supprting Chelsea in the same tie last yeat but since i have begun to not like them cos of the bully boy tactics of their team, and the fact they had three goalkeepers on the pitch today :p

Ive seen many Italian games and in general they are the worst when it comes to the dirty tactics (diving etc).

Cant have been that many then or recently, from all the broadcasted games, i can say I have watched most of them, and have rarely come across a case of diving, none more so than say in the prem anyway.

The dirty/Italian tactics is getting lame now, and if you cant appreciate the quality of football that is coming out of Italy then you're the one at a loss.

Liverpool only came into the equation because Mourinho was asking Sky Sports if they were going to show the Del Horno tackle as much as they showed the Essien tackle on Hamann.

That coming from a Liverpool supporter! Chelsea are actually playing better and more entertaining football than Liverpool at the moment.

Essein rivals Sissoko then doesn't he?

So a bunch of spotty students represent all football supporters do they? I suggest that more supporters actually dislike Liverpool more than they do Chelsea.

lol... spotty students... "marvellous goal, good riddance chelsea united!"

I hope there are no death threats made to this referee either, what are the odds on him retiring in a few weeks time?

They can show del hornos first challenge on Messi time and time again if they like, it was bad and deserved a straight red as it was high and dangerous, no questions asked.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; when man utd were in their prime over the last decade their football is the best i have seen from an english team, as has Arsenals in the last few years. And yes that is hard to swallow being a pool supporter but chelsea dont come close IMO to Man Utd and Arsenal. Liverpools football is getting better, and the style of Gerrard Houllier is disappearing. Benitez has done an amazing job with the quality at his disposal. There is so much talent at Chelsea and it could be a lot more prettier.

Sissoko is no saint, he can be rash but none of his challenges have been as bad as Essiens.

How did i know u were going to say something bad about students? Considering the students comprised of people from all around the country and all over Europe i think its a fair reflection. Most people i know dont like Chelsea, thats not my fault its just the way it is! Get over it!

It was not a red card. The kid Messi is not just a very good footballer. He is more than that. He jumps and he provoked the contact with Del Horno, who is then sent off.

I am not annoyed with Del Horno. He came in to cover for a tackle, he goes for the ball but doesn't touch the ball. Messi jumps on him and then rolls and rolls and rolls, so I don't want to say too much more except I am proud of my team.

Some real classic quotes there. So Mourinho thinks it was Messi's fault as he jumped into Del Horno. Funny that because I thought he jumped because he would have had his head taken off if he stood his ground. Not suprised he is annoyed at Messi, they put all their focus on Ronaldinho and Eto'o but Messi was the one they should have looked at because he made a mug of any Chelsea player that came close to him.

Hey Jazz good result for you boys yesterday although i thought Henry could have had a fair few yesterday if he bothered to run around more.

Cant believe these Chelsea boys are getting on my back!

lol.
Collina would just stare at the letters and they'd turn to stone.
If anyone messed with him, he'd just stare, and they'd go running. :p

that guy who's name was spelt something like pirlo's (pyvol ??) was knobber and needed nutting. What a gay haircut he had as well hope he traps it in a floorboard.

Seeing as you don't seem to know who Puyol is I'll be as kind as I can.

Put it like this, I wouldn't mention 'gay haircuts' if you're a Chelsea fan. I've also never noticed haircuts playing a huge role in how players play football.

It deserved a yellow and no more.

I fail to see that. You mainly pump the ball into the box for Crouch or Morientes. You're also using the long throw tactic even more of late. Bolton get slaughtered for doing that but good old Liverpool don't.

I seem to remember him purposely stamping on the back of Diouf's knee this season.
