Chinese (Communist) infiltration of the UK

Hilarious nonsense.

Firstly, CCP membership is quasi-compulsory in China, just like Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia. Most people are members whether they want to be or not, and it doesn't really mean anything unless they're a party official with power and influence.

Secondly, CCP membership does not = Chinese spy. Regular, everyday Chinese people get regular jobs in other parts of the world, just like everyone else. The fact that they're CCP members is irrelevant, and does not constitute 'infiltration.' There's a lot of ex-pat Tory voters in Spain; would you say the Tories have 'infiltrated' Spain? Pure nonsense.

CCP membership is around 92 million. That's a lot of people but far from being "most people" when the population is 1.4 billion.

Mod with another "Let's allow morons to keep posting unfounded BS"

Colour me surprised.

What is unfounded about this? At least attempt to refute the claims made in the OP before resorting to your usual angry objections.

What’s wrong with you?

He's a very angry man, he can't discuss anything he just rage-posts and calls others idiots and morons... it's basically just projection on his part.

They certainly have a grip on the movie industry. They won't make anything which may offend CCP. Except for Southpark who offend them on purpose lol

They have to appease them or they lose access to the Chinese market. Often films now make more money in China than USA.

What irks me is the fact they will pander to China despite all of their human rights abuses with the concentration camps etc , outright racism and everything else in-between...

Amazing how easily Hollywood etc will ignore them issues yet go full blown SJW on anything else

our "leaders" seem to get infiltrated very easily as well.
What's more shocking is how much everyone else has to pay someone by the hour for that pleasure...

There's a lot of ex-pat Tory voters in Spain; would you say the Tories have 'infiltrated' Spain?
Well yes, but it's of little use to them as they make their way off the backs of ordinary hard working people... while the Spanish siesta kinda puts the kybosh on any evil Tory plans!

Wait, didn't Trump have proof of China's involvement in releasing the virus? Also election rigging? He's sat on so much interesting evidence.

Ocam's razer, for source of the virus, if it was really being researched there.

Occam's razor indicates a natural source, given what is known about viruses.

We know that viruses mutate, often rapidly and frequently.
We know that sometimes a new strain will be much worse for humans than older strains that infected humans.
We know that viruses can jump species.
We know that when a virus does jump species there's a higher chance that it will have a much worse effect on the new species.
We know that viruses are more likely to jump species when there is more contact between those species.

On top of that, there had already been two different new coronaviruses that hit humans badly. The first of them (SARS-CoV1) affected eastern Asia, including part of China, pretty badly. It was a wake-up call in the region. The second one (MERS-CoV) was more contained geographically, but that doesn't mean it will always be. And it had an even higher death rate.

So it would have been obvious for China (or any other country in those parts of the world) to task a suitable lab to study coronaviruses in general and those two in particular. I bet the Wuhan lab wasn't the only one doing so and that China wasn't the only country with a lab doing so.

But then China's health and safety standards aren't exactly something world leading. It wouldn't be suprising if it leaked due to lack of proper care by staff.

They cut corners massively and that is part of the reason they can do things on the cheap. Chemical spills and building falling down seems to be the norm there.

There's that too and I wouldn't rule out an accidental leak. It's happened in other places in which corners are cut to reduce costs and regulations are lax, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sverdlovsk_anthrax_leak

But for the reasons I stated I think that a wholly natural occurence is a simpler explanation than top secret bioweapons research gone awry.

I don't think it's bio weapons research gone awry, simply bad waste management or a blind eye being turned to lab animals entering a food chain by backdoor means.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. :P

I do think, by my own standards, the Chinese wet markets are utterly sick.

I don't see what could possibly go wrong with piles of raw chicken left on open stalls in a crowded market :D

Not really totally nonsense, if you think China is not sending spies into government institutions and firms of high value, universities to spy then you live with your head buried in the sand.

OFC, that's why the UK is ditching Huawei equipment. Lenovo and Huawei have been banned for goverment use for years already. They hide back doors in the hardware/firmware.
