I think i'm going to go on a monthly rolling contract with no one too, if its really good will sign up for 12 months
I’d be tempted to sign up to 24 months, as you get 3 months free

Not sure I want to be be in a 24month contract with anyone. If an isp is good they don't need to trap you.I’d be tempted to sign up to 24 months, as you get 3 months free

yeah the discount of 3 months would be nice, but I've signed up to a 1 month rolling contract, if they put the price up I go elsewhereNo but a 24 mont contract means you’re guaranteed no price increase for 24 months
Wouldn’t do it again with BT but I’d do it for a company like No One
Plus, it’s not locked in the sense that if you move somewhere without Cityfibre, you don’t pay a fee
Everything I've heard about vodafone's network is negative Giganet offer 3 months free and don't hold you to contract so for me it was "meh, worth a shot". Some of the order process felt a bit of a mess, but the product is solid.Been reading that some ppl on City fibre with Vodaphone have recently had their latency / ping times triple due to routing issues. Being locked onto a 2 year contract bothers me if this happens.
Would you say Giganet is considerably better than Vodaphone for gaming? Tempted to cancel Voda as and go with them instead.
I mean at £40 for 1000/1000 it feels good value. Pretty sure Giganet don't do price increases as well which is better than the CPI+3.9% = 15% lol **** you crowd.I can now get Giganet, but it's £10 more a month for what looks like the same service. Vida install for me in the 14th so I have 14 days to cancel it if I'm not happy and can change to Giganet

If my latency is anything like that from No One on Monday, I'll be very happy indeed. Bought my new router ready, just need no issues their end finger's crossedEverything I've heard about vodafone's network is negative Giganet offer 3 months free and don't hold you to contract so for me it was "meh, worth a shot". It works out at £30/mo when you take into consideration the free 3 months.I mean at £40 for 1000/1000 it feels good value.
What CityFibre location is that, we both get ~3ms - on VF also
But it’s not, as both have different levels of customer support, amongst other things.I can now get Giganet, but it's £10 more a month for what looks like the same service.

I binned Vodaphone, never even bothered with them as didn't want to be stuck in a 2-year contract, Giganet aren't available still yet here just says pre order soon. So I have gone on a monthly rolling contract with No One and my instal date is the 21 NovBut it’s not, as both have different levels of customer support, amongst other things.
looks pretty damn good to me
looks pretty damn goo
got mine installed today - seems pretty good for gaming much lower latency in online games and can feel the difference. ping test on 8.8.8.8 gives ping of 5ms so pretty good. All in all they seem pretty good. I tried a quick p2p just to see and it does appear that they throttle that though. not a big deal for me though, but I like to know all the same.
I coming to the end of my Vodafone fttc contract but unsure if to upgrade to openreach full fibre or wait for city to go live. They are currently in the area doing the works.
