Airbroadband use OFNL service they do not use CityFibre my brother is in the same situation and the price are high.
Vodafone signed an exclusive deal which covers over 250 cities/towns/villages (I class this as anti competition and should never of been allowed)
Does any one know why it takes so long for the service to become active? the cables was installed in my area almost 3 months ago and the areas around mine they finished doing about a month ago yet still not available also no details when it will be.

I wish their status checker was more informative, it never was great in the first place but it seems its been nerfed, as before if you checked an address which had works done or in the process of been done it would say "currently building in area" now its the generic "we will let you know". With no target dates or build progress.
I use to look at one.network and also had a direct email address to the cityfibre manager they appointed to my town. U might be able to chase these ways also
I am already in touch with the local manager, but he is very evidently not keen on giving out anything regarding to completion dates, I suspect they may have had issues with missing dates and getting complaints. All he said was a vague the city will be done by 2025 lol.

Yep I did the same, the ThinkBroadband map can also be useful.
They seem to wait till they've completed a certain amount of streets then all at once they go live. It can be frustrating that they can't give any approximation to that.
