Its 1GB in size and they have overhauled the graphics a bit as well, also wtf I didn't attacked in the first 100 turns on Prince!!!

Need to finish my current save before I touch any of BNW. Spent most of yesterday playing and still haven't won. Cultural victory seems to be taking forever. :( Few hours more and I reckon it'll be done -otherwise I'll just drop a few nukes.

Fired up a quick Standard game to check out the new mechanics and had to switch it off. Can't function these days without InfoAddict. Hopefully shouldn't be too long until it's updated.

haha dropping nukes is surely a cultural victory if you're the Americans :D

Downloaded and installed this morning. All systems are go for when I get home after work. Now the question is, do I go out all with a massive map and loads of AI to start with or do a smaller game to get used to the new features....

Just finished a huge map with China. Was playing on King so I chose them for strong units incase of war. Turns out no one attack me until the late game period. I was going for science, but was keeping my culture and tourism/economy up too. Germany took over me on the science, so plan B was freedom and world leader win. Took me two votes and up till then I passed resolutions that managed to get 7 Civs declaring War on me for forcing through Freedom world ideology (Set myself up by getting the host from Holland) and science funding. Must admit tho, the trade routes I got setup where a massive resource spinner - as long as I wasn't at war thus not getting robbed en route.

Downloaded and installed, had a cheeky 20 min play as well, finally sort out the optimisation for mac/the HD4000 in my mini :)

Anyway this looks a great update, shame they took away the stonehenge culture plan, suddenly not so bothered about spamming to it...

Been playing this for a few hours this morning. Playing on Prince difficulty I haven't been attacked once. Playing medium map, Pangea, and had two other civs on my Island. One of them didn't expand past a single city, and the other built 2 extra cities but has done nothing else.
Decided to remove them from my island around turn 200, but it's not been very satisfying so far, none of the AI seem interested in putting up a fight, its almost 'sandbox' mode!!
Might start a new game on a single continent so there are more AI interactions early on.....

Brave New World is available for £13.49 as a flash sale - but cheeky them putting the game on flash sale on the day of release, when they have been offering a measly £2 discount for those who pre-ordered.
So those that didn't pre-order actually get a better deal and still get the expansion on release day!

Also, 'Gold' edition upgrade (scenario's, extra civs, and Gods & Kings) is currently £2.50 flash sale....

I didn't notice the Gold edition upgrade, thanks for that!

I watched the review video that smelly legend posted and the reviewer did comment on the lack of AI aggression on Prince. Think I might start on King later

That's a bit naughty! Luckily that's what I paid for it at GMG but I can understand people being a bit annoyed about an instant drop in price which is cheaper than preorder!
