2k really are a scumbag publisher... the Bioshock Infinite season pass ordeal and now the pre-order of this. Eugh.

Not really, splitting hairs over a couple of quid on this expansion is a bit much really. Plus the way 5's expansions have worked have made them much better value buys than 3/4.

They give a 10% discount for months leading upto the day of the release then a 30% on the day? so anyone who is a long time fan of the series gets stiffed, even if it only £5... then you have 2K games with Bio Shock infinite, which has a season pass, but no content from that season pass yet released... but after months of that season pass being available to buy suddenly decide to have a 50% sale on it.

They're scumbags... they're taking their core fanbase for a complete ride.

Getting game freezing issues with the Brave New World DLC, normally around 1900ad using no other mods. tried reinstalling, lots of folks getting this reading the forum.

This is pretty abysmal tbf, the season pass being the worse of the two. Don't mind paying £17 myself and if it dropping to £13 means more people can afford it then fair enough, I like firaxis so I consider the £5 a donation. haha

Very tempted with this, but I think its to high a price for DLC even at the sale price, I don't really want to encourage them...

So I got my cultural victory, time to try BNW! American Civil War I think.

Oh and achieves didn't unlock

so no record of Aztec win or Cultural victory, etc etc .. Stupid thing.

£13 is getting there, but £20 is definitely not. Shouldn't be over a tenner in my opinion, I would have been gutted if I'd paid anything close to full price for the last one.

Just keep an eye on Steam throughout the sale, they usually repeat deals.

Honestly just dive right in. It doesn't actually take that long to get into the flow of it.

Just bought BNW from greenmangaming with 20% off. G&K was a great expansion, and while this one was a bit more expensive, it certainly looks decent. Looking forward to trying it out, once the Steam servers allow me to activate the key hehe

I'm not sure you can. I think that was the replacement for the text popup for whose turn it is.
