Clarkson, Hammond and May sign with Amazon Prime for new car show

Have Prime, barely used it compared with Netflix/Sky/BBC.

Not overly fussed, I'll see how the first show is but probably let someone else use my Prime for it.

Already have Prime, the next day delivery is fantastic, especially if ordering at weekends, no more hoping something get sent before Friday lunch for the small chance it's delivered on Saturday.

Just wish I had a way of watching the Premier League without having to use Sky. :(

Oh, Prime is absolutely brilliant. Sunday deliveries and getting 99% of orders next day.

BT have a lot of football (Champions League) now do they not?

Because it isn't stealing? Calling it stealing is an attempt to emotionally charge it.

Has it ever occurred to you to address the actual point of the post rather than going off on a tangent and trying to infer meaning behind whatever word was used?

No? Never mind then ;)

They do, but not as many Premier League games as Sky. It's a bit annoying, I pay out to the BBC (obviously), Sky and BT to get BT Sport. I had Prime primarily for the deliveries as most things I order online are from Amazon.

I tried going without Sky for a couple of years but I like watching football and it's cheaper than going to the pub! Same goes for BT Sport, can't go without the rugby and now Champions League

Of course it's stealing. It's the digital equivalent of walking into WHS Smith, picking up a DVD and walking out with it without paying!

If it's not stealing, what is it?

Its the same as walking into WH Smith, making a copy, putting the original back so it's still there and walking out with the copy. So no, it's not "technically" stealing :D

The point of YOUR post was to correct the other guy's post to say stealing. So I did address the point of your post.

Derp, are you even aware of what you're posting?

I can just imagine you are the life and soul of a dinner party

Yeah, just because I don't take any old emotionally charged crap as gospel.

You're the one who decided to edit their post in the first place to sperge about how it's stealing.

It's like some people here aren't at all aware of the things that they do.

Do Netflix only and Amazon Only and other online content ever make it onto Dave or other terrestial channels?

I don't pay for any cable/satellite tv services (don't watch much tv really, generally just films and box sets, and I hate football) and only pay the TV licence because I do watch the BBC from time to time.

If it will be aired on Dave or something like that then I'm happy to wait, I don't really want to pay for a subscription service that I am unlikely to use.

I they charge say £0.99 for an episode or something reasonable then I'd probably watch it.

Just because Amazon are creating and showing it doesn't mean there's no possibility of it being on a regular tellybox channel such as ITV or Dave.

BBC started Ripper Street and discontinued it after 2 series, Amazon picked it up for further series and BBC now pay Amazon to show it on their own channel again.

BBC contract won't allow them to work for a broadcast TV channel for 5 years iirc.

Must be bs, they were out of contract at the time. You can only be bound by a contract whilst in it. To keep contracts like that valid you have to keep paying them. Often called gardening leave. Imagine the uproar if the bbc had to keep paying Clarkson for five years lol.
