The upgrade costs are far too much for me to be tempted. A fiver to upgrade a wizard tower? I don't think so!

the only thing worth spending money on is builders...

...even then, with my 2nd account I managed to save enough gems to get 4 builders and never spent a penny.

I got to all 5 builders without spending money but it took a long time.

I like having gems so I can boost my barracks, spells and heroes, 45mins is a long wait if you lose both heroes in a battle and you want to get a few raids in.

I'm sitting on 14.5 million gold, so im doing one xbow to L5 and hopefully 2 L1 bomb Towers if they are the 2 million each i read. Then the raiding starts before everyone spends all their loot.
