COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Problem is now,
Anyone better than me will be getting kicked from my servers, meaning they will be empty all the time :(
 
i think 8 V 8 servers will be reasonable, to much more than that i think it would be silly getting killed by airstrikes every 5 secs. and maps not being that big it would be cramped and a meatfeast
 
I believe the actual crosshair location stays in the centre of the screen. Where you're aiming doesn;t change, just the scope comes up. I've even seen people draw a black or red dot on their screen to make quick scoping easier.
 
It's also easier on a console because they have auto aim which locks on to targets near the cross hair. I've not played MW2 for a while on but I rarely saw it happen on PC.

Lame or aim?

The player's aim has very little to do with it, as long as the target is roughly in the centre of the screen, start to scope up and fire, hey presto, the game makes sure you don't miss, it's definitely lame.

The AK47 on MW2 has quite strong recoil,when I switch from my tried and tested Scar-H to the AK-47 I'm spraying shots around like a blind monkey for the first few matches.:o
 
Quickscoping is definitely a skill on the PC at least but im glad its dead cos i suck at it :)
 
It will be full of hackers, just like the other cod games. you cant go in a server without someone cheating. Completely spoils the game, this is why i no longer play that series. Theres cheats on all games, but the amount on cod is a **** take.

Bull, MW2 seemed a bit full of cheaters, but all previous CoD games have had hardly any, and they usually get banned quickly enough from decent servers with admins.

One thing about COD, it's hard to see if somebody is actually cheating, or you are just convinced they're cheating because they keep killing you. emotions make you brand people cheaters far too easily.
 
from cod2 the game has been riddled with them. moreso on the last 2 yeah thats true. dedicated servers coming back does give that little bit extra support for banning the gimps, but they will never be stopped completely. shame. And as for thinking people cheat deko. I have a friend, warlord, hes a coder and runs his own call of duty cheat site. he sells them by the thousands. i know he had 8000+ buyers alone for the last cod, and that was only 1 coder. So just think how many there is out there. This kinda makes me think about stopping gaming online on pc.Its only the fact the graphics on consoles are so poor that stops me from completely selling up and moving over.
