COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

If MW2 gave us Dedi servers, nerfed G18s/Tubes and reduced the UMP. It'd own this game.

Of course there's other issues/tweaks. Demolition bomb placements, killstreaks etc. Never the less, tweaks. MW2 could easily be a better game, but black ops is just less frustrating. For that reason BO wins.

It's a shame...
 
ATI drivers to 10.10e this fixed my game tbh.. on a 6870

its now pretty good, well except its pretty mediocre and the maps are all **** except 2 and i prestige'd so using ****ty guns...
 
Deleting my edited config and using the default one fixed my game for me, i get the odd stutter but its very playable. I seem to have a acceptable K/D ratio in most games with my current performance. But still wtb next patch!

Personally I used fraps (to record the replay of the match using the theatre) and then Windows Movie Maker to encode it to a 720p size suitable for YouTube.

It's all about the MP5/M16 until you get AK74u then it's win all the way!

AK74u you get at level 17 I think, it's my gun of choice think out of my 7,500 kills I've got 4,000 + with the AK74u!
 
yeah, its sad but true.. I know its inevitable that 1 gun ( like mw2 ump) will dominate an entire game. ak74 easily wins this game its silly :(

Looking forward to getting the proper AK47 and G11 back i love them two .
 
Actually I just tried playing a match with fraps recording in real time and it worked out pretty good - having fraps running did hurt my framerate a bit though. (Not relevant when you upload it to the net anyway as YouTube limits videos to 30fps even if you upload a 60fps one.)

Damm, there is no pleasing you is there! Had a couple of nice games with the TFU boys today.
 
Anyone else think that the Huey killstreak (chopper gunner) would be better if the gun had some kind of over heating system on it?
I do love the killstreak and i've used it a few times, but you can totally dominate the map with it. If you had to control you firing to stop it from overheating for 5 seconds i think it would work far better.
 
I done a test using fraps but after a while it's using 50% cpu then the game starts lag like mad :(

I had to use the ingame render thing but looks very crap graphics is it meant to look like this.

That was my best game i had so far lol ak47u i think its called is a nice gun :D

The video did not even show the flashbang grenade that went off in my face lol

Yes it's perfectly possible, i regularly shoot them down but i have ghost pro and the Strela launcher. But i see think that if there was a overheating timer it would make it better. It's my highest kill streak and it's great but i still think it's stupidly game changing.
 
For those asking, I found a HC server that had no respawn times. Yes it was ranked.
