It needs fixing, like they fixed the lodscaleridgid bug in WAW.

EDIT: Infact, didn't CoD4 have the same issue in the early days? Cant remember for sure but i think it did... Or was that an issue with putting model detail to low in promod? I cant remember now... lol

What do I need to do to check/limit or whatever the FPS?
i.e. what is the console command to a) check what FPS I'm getting and b) can it be limited 60, 120 etc? /noob question

(I've used the FPS program before, but there is one in-game no?)

Use vsync, it will limit your fps to the hz of your monitor. Most likely to be 60 unless you have a 120hz monitor.

hopefully in afew weeks server admins will start disabling it
