COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Why would it be easier to kill divers and bunny hoppers in hardcore?
 
Because bunny hopping for a short periods they are predictable and exposed which gives you enough time to cleanly kill them in hardcore - but in normal mode you have to try and follow their hopping antics - and with dirt diving as I usually go for center mass and adjust for head when aiming 9/10 they end up getting a headshot rather than bodyshot on the way down.
 
On the xbox version im sure you can have wager matchs where the first place pot is 30000, also one where its a really tiny amount if you want to just have fun in those game modes.

Anything like that for us? As every wager match server seems to be a 500 buy-in.

You make it sound like money is an issue? I just spent all my cash on face paint because there was nothing else to buy!

Set;

r_multiGpu to 0 - if you have a single GPU card.
r_multithreaded_device 1 - if you have a dual core and more.
maxpackets to 100
snaps to 30
com_maxfps to 100 or 125

Im level 40ish and im not swimming in money. Its not an issue but i would like those options of gambling high or playing for fun with low amounts.
 
To the people having sound issues causing lag my friend had the same problems and on the off chance i got him to check his motherboard manufacturers website and lo and behold there was a new driver for his onboard sound and also his chipset... so after installing both of these he now has a lag free game and is a very happy 'camper' (pardon the pun lol).

Seems gigabyte released these drivers on the 10th 2 days before we checked so it could be they were released to fix certain issues with sound and black ops... try it , it just might work!
 
This game has been working fine for me since release - I actually didn't suffer from a lot of the problems other people seem to of done. However, today it has decided that within a couple of minutes of game play the screen is going to turn grey and crash out every time. Great.

Suppose that depends on your idea of boring, id say bc2 is more enjoyable than this by a good bit. The utterly abysmal performance of this game and the lag is letting it down quite a bit, its based on a 10 year old engine yet people with pc's that would strike fear into the heart of Satan are getting bad performance.
