COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Not sure if this has already been said. It looks like they have found a fix for the stuttering, although i still have to do snd_restart at the start of every map to prevent the sound from being broken. The stuttering is gone for me.

Windows 7 only, Go to control panel, sound options and then right click go to properties of your default device.

Untick where it is highlighted in yellow and set the default quality to 48khz dvd quality. I can even set the fov to 80 now and it dose not glitch when i run or shoot someone, except for usual lag.

Noob tubes, camping and bunny hopping appeared for me last night, i was not amused and prone is getting rather irritating now.

That is garbage. I have to change it from 92.

I don't think the default format is what does it imo. i have not tested it. But my sound card is an esi maya 44 and it auto selects the sample rate. There is a codbo config option for setting the sample rate and it is set to 44 in the default config. So why they told me to set it to 48 i am not sure. I think it could be just the untick of exclusive control that fixes the problem. But it is just one problem that has been fixed.

nice colour coded round up of the bugs/faults/issues.

Cheers, I set my sound to 44100 Hz the other day, though hadn't heard of unchecking "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device".
Thanks.

i turned off AA and slid the bar for AF all the way to the left (no bars), tried the sound fix above this post. and ZERO LAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

leik, zomg.. nadda. i still get the killcam lag stuff, but other than that it's brilliant. (looks crap with no AA/AF, mind)

Anyone else notice this bug? In Nuketown, sometimes the car can't be blown up. Grenades or explosives have no effect. I am guessing the game thinks it has been blown up already, yet it still erroneously displays the car fully intact.
