COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

on cheaters, i think that the level of game play is very high on multiplayer games and there is no ultra high level of skill out there. You get noob, average (which kills noob big time) then good players. but there is no one that is going to get 60-2. If someone is getting kill streak after kill streak and does not die, chance are he is cheating. depending on the game type. but if everyone else is about 13-10 and one guy is no 50-2 then you know he is cheating.

It can happen where a good player gets 30 or 40 to under 5 deaths. But then you will find the rest of the players will have close scores as well. imo

Haven't played it very much?

If you get a few killstreaks like chopper gunner/gunship/rolling thunder it is perfectly possible to end up with dozens of kills, hardly any deaths, and be miles ahead of every other player. I have done it a number of times. On each occasion it was just luck that I got great care packages.

I always save a screenshot of wins so I will post some as proof if you like.

We as in [HaX] clan.

Personaly on MWF2 on scrapyard demo game I got over 120 kills with no kill streak rewards.

Cupra & Illicit have both done this too, maybe more..

It still is dodgy and it was in MW too. UAV could be kept up almost 24/7 in MW, Spy Planes are pretty easy too if people are using it over RC. Only real way to know is if you're using Ghost Pro and a Silencer so you won't show up on anything, not even motion sensors.

I thought you needed Hacker Pro to be invisible to mtion sensors. Just stated playing with teh motion sensors, really cool toy but I can see how it encourages camping.

Cheaters know they're not good enough to win normally, otherwise they would. You must not even get that great sense of achievement from winning because you know you're cheating. Also,a ctually killing a cheater is great fun, surely the ultimate humiliation for the losers.

Only started playing demolition last night, much prefer it to sabotage. Just trying to get pro perks for Flak jacket and Ninja. What perks are considered best for the bomb game modes like Demolition? I am loving Flak jacket for it’s anti-grenade spam properties.

Meh, i was gonna say Hacker Pro too but i couldn't remember if it was right.

It depends what you refer to as camping. If you mean sitting in the same spot for 2 minutes until someone appears on the radar then yeah, its camping. But luckily you can place em down then pick them up 1 ping later to check noones the other side of an area so you can either move them along and use em to help or use em to check if someones sneaking up on you in a building. They're great in spots you can get a decent amount of the enemy assault path in there range so you know when people are coming.
 
Quick question,

I've got my metal tags to show my name when it gives your XP and stats summary after each round, however on the in game screen/score table I'm still Unknown Solider...
 
I was wondering how that happened... i've got absolutely no idea how to change my name in game, i just assumed it was connected to your steam name.

This is why I don't like any of the 'Copter killstreaks. They're too overpowered and give no satisfaction to the user either as it's too easy! (I'm not just coming from a *moan*theykilledme*moan* POV).
If they were more vulnerable to AA fire, or less accurate, it would be better.
 
I still cant figure out how to add servers so any advice on that would be good.

I think its sad for the game cheating is already happening but as you say its the people who cant win without cheating who will do it!

The biggest problem I am finding at the moment is being kicked off servers for winning! Yes believe it or not being kicked for having a damn good score and no other reason drives me nuts. So any servers people know of I can avoid this which also has a good load of admins let us know! x
 
I was kicked from a server the other day and it may have been for the same reason. I started a match already in progress, within a few minutes got to quite a large score with few deaths, and then bang, a message saying you have been kicked. No explanation as to why. I know in COD4 the admins could type a reason, I don't know if Black Ops admins have that ability.
 
Dont think they can, certainly not seen one even for the kick for 3 TK's. Just wish I could afford my own server so I could play without hackers and not being kicked for being good! :P
 
If I kick someone (usually for tubing as we don't allow tubers on our server) I send them a private message first and then kick. Before you ask, we have the rules rotating every 30 seconds or so.
