COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

That many hours is way too short.. wish games had long er single player in general :/ still at that fewer hours gonna wait till its £20 or less not paying 40 that's like 6-7 pound an hour for something I can't resell

You'll have to wait a year then probably, that's how long it's taken MW2 to be £20 in a few shops. (Still £39.99 on Steam.)

CoD on PC has always been about multiplayer though, the SP is usually good but most of the value for money has come from MP. For example, since CoD4 came out i've probably played maybe 500 hours, probably more, but it works out at 0.05p per hour for me, pretty good value.

Yeah I got mw for cheap so that was ok, I guess these are misses for me, just thought I'd check tho because they are quite fun

Playing COD games on the hardest setting is dumb when the enemies respawn and most the time a grenade rolls up to you without you knowing about it. Its not hard, its just not fair.

Play for fun I say.

Maybe, but to me thats part of the fun, beating the really hard bits eventually. I'd rather play it on veteran, take something like 8 - 10 hrs maybe if its really difficult than play it on medium, faceroll everything and be done in 3 - 4 hrs.

i usually play SP on easy/normal the first time.. then if it was any good i go up a level.. it's better than playing on uber hard and dieing all the time.....

Some day i will understand why the singleplayer crowd actually looks at the primarily multiplayer FPSs then complain that its not worth the money on that alone... are there not enough singleplayer games out there?

I wonder if I'm the only one who has pre ordered it but won't be playing till Thursday/Friday :p and hasn't been following any updates

No, there are not. And furthermore, the 'primarily multiplayer FPS' thing is a sham - it isnt 'Primarily a Multiplayer FPS' at all. It's a Single and Multiplayer FPS thats only become Primarily MP by the fact they put less and less effort into SP these days.

I think devs focus more on multi to try and stop piracy really

I doubt thats the case with CoD, atleast CoD 4.

The single player was one of the best FPS games I've played and the Multiplayer was too, pretty good balance of fun on both sides.

I even loved doing the arcade version to rack up my score.

It has always been MP focused, all the way back to CoD:United Offensive, maybe even CoD1.
