COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

personally i am interested in some of the game modes, specifically the one where you get a different weapon every 30 seconds, the one where you have to get a kill with each weapon in a set rotation, the 1 bullet (poker face) game. I'm even interested in the cod points and wager matches.
 
Well, I just pre-purchased on Steam. I can't go to a midnight release, and I need to play as soon as possible. :p :(
 
werll i think the whole point of dedicated servers is to use the first few months finding five or six servers you can trust and sticking with them for the duration, may even consider getting a server myself.
 
Hmm. I think I'll get it from the shop this time. the 16gig download for MW2 was a killer and if I remember correctly pre-loading started the day before( I don't like to leave my comp on over night, before anyone says)

Looking at the install size Black Ops it might be bigger.
 
Jeez im a big fan of steam, BUT, £40 they can go swivel, i just pre ordered disks from somewhere else for £30.
 
steam have took the pea with the pricing almost everywhere ive looked its about 30 quid . i suggest ocuk get loads in below ;) should mop up lol

I've pre-ordered this (retail) and I am hopeful it will be well worth it....

So has it been confirmed yet that the Steam version will support L4D2 style game invites and join game in progress options? If so, I'm tempted to go for PC this time around and forget about the 360 version.
 
Are there any collectors editions or preorder special editions for the PC?

I can only find the standard game, I take it we dont get the "Car" edition?
