COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Yeah there's definitely some kind of network issue in the game itself.

I went to the midnight release at BestBuy, they held a Free-For-All tournament with 4 players on XBox 360s and a few times they got the 'CONNECTION INTERRUPTED" screen pop up and ruin the elimination match.

They even swapped the local switch and it made no difference. So to me that's pretty conclusive that it's an issue with the game itself not anyones connection online.
 
Lag was getting a little better for me after a while, at first it was disgustingly bad, as in every 30 seconds was met by a 10 second lag spike. Now it's like 3 or 4 seconds every 40.

When MW2 hosting on local machines had less lag than on dedi servers, you know you've done something wrong.
 
Well what a fundamentally useless thread this is. It's impossible to tell if this game is any good because it's just full of exactly the same sort of moaning and crying about console kiddies ruining and people who think not liking popular things is cool as we get in any COD thread.

Of course they broke all that was good about MW1 in MW2 and in the process lost momentum to Dice and the Battlefield series.

Actually IMO MW2 is brilliant, and I hope it gets more appreciation for just how good it is, now that Black Ops has turned out to be so mediocre.

Game is brilliant, but only when it works, people getting 2-10 second freezes in MP with no slowdown just freezes, jumps here there and everywhere, when its smooth though its insane.

This tbh, I'm after some balanced opinions on whether the game is worth it or not :rolleyes:

If you like Call of Duty, you'll like this :) It's MW2 refined with all the complaints amended. Personally I think it's a massive improvement. What major title is without its teething problems at launch?
