COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

MP in a whole:
- MP5K is overpowered, default class is pretty powerful
- Random lag spikes where nothing does anything
- Hardly anyone goes on wager matches, and if you join, and not enough people join, you lose 500CP when it cycles map

Anyone else having the game totally freeze for 1 or 2 seconds? I've got a Q8400 overclocked to 3.2GHz and a GTX 460 1GB and I'm running everything on as low as possible @ 1920x1080, even some of the menu's freeze for a couple of seconds. It can't just be me, can it?

nahh not just you mate, same here
I just ran fraps benchmark and am getting min 35, max 60, average 50 withg everything full
but as you say sometimes it literally is 1FPS when it freezes so god knows what's happening

think i might get this on xbox just to play through the SP without the stress of freezing/stuttering/skipping.... then trade it in once the pc version is patched/sorted!

Really starting to dislike the trend of bug-ridden console port FPS games which have been coming out on the PC recently.

Might just sell PC copy and get it on Xbox.

You cant sell the PC copy unless you installed it under a different steam account with only that game activated on it, as once its installed its tied to the account for life.

I have it on both (console and pc) yet to play it yet though. However im going to leave the PC one wrapped and un-used untill i get confirmation that the issues die down/get sorted.

Has anyone else done some weird move where you seem to launch youself out of a window to a prone position on the ground? I double tapped space i think and went flying earlier, not sure what happened...
