Codemasters F1 2010 Time Trials X360 & PS3

Oh ok, I did misread the rules,

Didn't realise we had to number bullet point the stats.

But I thought it was a bit harsh not including my time nonetheless as it was perfectly legible when I posted the second time.

Anyway, a 1.42.569 and that's with 30 minutes of having a go so I reckon I am capable of getting a 1.40 round Singapore.

Bring on Suzuka

Where do you find your sector times for your best lap?

I couldnt find any way of accessing them from the garage or whatever, so had to start another lap and just drove around slowly, it should ping at you and pop up in the left hand corner to say +2.123 etc and gives you the personal best time above that.

Edit - By the way Mr Latte, i should be in 17th and Skii should be 16th according to the times :)

I'm in favour of doing this over a week if you guys are up for it. The race is this weekend so we've got a full 7 days to get some good practice in. :)

EDIT: Looks like I got the dates wrong! :o

Mucho kudos to Mr Latte for a good thread setup...quite happy i ended up 12th place...i couldnt really better my time with singapore so ill stick with the time i posted...i had to give up after about an hr as the concentration levels needed for this game gave me a banging headache.

Anyhow bring on the next race TT...looking forward to it and hopefully ill be much better next time round.

Need to set up my M$ wheel at some point ie the in game settings.

Sorry, which race is in 7 days? I thought you meant the Suzuka GP, which from my calendar is in 14days time... I misunderstood your post, sorry.

My mistake. I just googled the name of the race and it came up with 2009's fixture list, I didn't check beforehand so I guess that means we have 2 weeks to practice! :o

Cheers Mr L!

It's nice to see OCuk'ers all hotlapping!

I just used one of the "quick setups" in the menu, third from the right I think (One of the Balanced ones). The only change was the engine/throttle mapping set to 'FAST'.

Roll on the next one then!

I'm quite enjoying the game, I hope the main SP bugs are sorted out quickly, I'm only on the 3rd GP of the season, and it's starting to become a real pain. I hated the arcade handling of Grid, but actually think that the handling suits this game much better!

That's the 2nd adaptable right? it goes wet/wet/adaptable/adaptable/dry/dry

Hmm... haven't tried with the throttle mapping. Next track should be a lot tighter with people getting a fair bit more practice in, not to mention it's on forza so I should know it a bit better :)

Will there be a new thread made for the next time trial or will we be updating this one?

Just had a quick blast round Suzuka so i guess its me setting the almost certainly beatable benchmark :)

1. 1.35.861
2. PS3
3. Mclaren
4. Pad, Auto Gears, no assists, racing line on

Anyone got any times of their own to see how i compare? Im 305th on the global leaderboard...

Had a quick go at Suzuka earlier, it really is a test of smooth throttle skills, fabulous track.

1. 1.33.498
2. Xbox 360
3. Red Bull
4. MS 360 Wheel, manual gears, all assists off .

With the Single Player having issues I think I will be looking to play other tracks in the game so got thinking, what if we started the Suzuka TT early and have it end at the same time?

Some are likely to have a sneek practice at it (as if, lol) So we might as well just get it up and running anyways...

EDIT: incredible you guys posted as I was typing this, hee hee.

We can keep all the tracks in here, single thread.

SUZUKA TT NOW OPEN !
Ends Sunday 12th October 10pm

Will update this post with info for the TT later...

Same rules as in opening post apply however with mods and PC framerates being greater it is unfair to include PC times with console versions.

Did a 1.34.109 or something earlier on Suzuka, manual gears now, manual braking, only assists on are TC, ABS and corner lines.

I find it hard to know what gear to be in around turns 3/4/5 etc.... 3rd or 4th or shifting between both?

As for the track it's the absolute opposite of Singapore, feels like the car has been set free :D

Lovely flowing track, as has been said, definitely a test of throttle this one, especially that first sector!!!
