Which are the most useful shortcuts to get a speedy base up and running?

I only use H to get back to base and occasionaly even stretch to a Ctrl+1 group! Now fear me Brutal COMP!!!

I use E, R, T and Y to select tabs, and F1, F2, F3 etc to build items. I'm still quicker with a mouse though... :p

lol, i just did my record defeat, 13minutes.

I built so many vehicles/infantry and didn't even use them.

I won purely with super weapons and bombers. Used all 5 (or 6?) super weapons at once, took out 80% of there base, then used about 60 bombers which destroyed everything :p

How did you use so many superweapons? They take bout 6 mins to charge and you can only make one at a time

I've done the skirmish with ease on hard mode but brutal is madness. They have ten times higher income rate then me??

EDIT: Used one of the other corners in hard mode, less vunerable there.(click for bigger)

he means like the non nuke/ion weapons down the left sidebar, like the err tiberium missile thingy for nod etc.

Just noticed, if you play as NOD, and take a stealth tank and scout their base with it, they have patrolling units that seem to "follow" your stealth tank, lol.

I used it to pull their defenses away while I sent another force in the other side. What a bug! :D

is that a joke? I only stopped playing it a few months ago, its awful. This is a massive improvement already. I cant find a way to spam nukes every 4 seconds yet. Or shoot turrets half way across the map yet. And I did that with generals patched up to date.

Any idea when we'll get a multiplayer demo? :D They must give us one!!!

I dont know how you can rate this after playing company of heroes
ive seen more animation in a flickbook dreadful letdown of a game looks 5 years old.

CoH is the benchmark for RTS i agree, but anyone thinking this would be a revolutionary game is maybe being a little niave ,,,
its a great demo, which i havent stopped playing even after initial disapoinment and im loving the Nods Avatars
give it time , it grows on you and runs great on low hardware

Because it's a totally different type of strategy game.

As I said earlier in the thread, remember Z? It's like comparing that to Red Alert. You can't - they're two almost completely different games.

you can put engineers in fallen avators? oohh god nice...
I found the game quite fun, but as a demo somewhat limited, saying that, i thought the supcom demo was appauling aswell. Guess im used to multiplayer demos, and finding out all these little things ingame the hardway, loads more fun like that :D ill definatly be buying this anyway, just because the storyline will be stunning. Lost, galactica, starship troopers and smallville casting, can only result in some giggles really.

Anyone else think boomer off BSG(the asian) looks like a man in the FMVs in the demo? Shes like a stick with rugby player shoulders.

The AI isnt that great, i was playing brutal enemy last night and mistaking left my main base without defenses as i'd managed to push them back with 2 corner mini bases.

Then i found out that he had captured one of my buildings, a crane, i had 2 others already and my MCV was right next to it. It could have captured anything in my base but no it goes for the one thing that's not going to significantly affect me.

I like the idea of the handicaps, lets you play the more difficult enemies and work your way up to 0% handicap so you can learn how it plays, although gets pretty predictable after a while.

Thats exactly what I discovered,

I simply pushed to the right to gain access to that Tiberium field, there was quite a battle for the space but once i had won, there was little resistance. I don't think even 1 enemy unit attacked my main base.
