Command & Conquer 4K remaster coming

The menu is full ultra-wide, the game maps have a black bar on the left of the screen, but you don't notice it.
The maps are small, so it's a none issue.

I forgot the enemy harvesters will quite happily change course and mow down an entire platoon of your infantry :D

LOL what a n00b mistake i made i thought it was UW

ive only played some of the early missions so far and there was a lot of fog of war still so i didn't notice

well its not as bad a say starcraft 2 because at least the hud covers the right side

it would be so much better if we can someone add decorative borders to non UW games.. will look better than black bars... similar to how some 4:3 remade games have a border when played in 16:9

Even if I could kill the 2 Tanks, I still have 7 Infantry to deal with, hiding in the corner.
Ima stuck, Hard is too Hard, enemy do too much damage, missions with no base are a nightmare.

Anyone cleared this on Hard?

Well, I am happy enough, it is a remaster, not a remake. I am also looking forward to see what mods the community bring, like better AI, unit balance, etc... Music is great, CGI is ok. The game was originally hard, so not sure I want to attempt it on Hard!

Well if anyone wants to cheese it
Go around the map mopping up the units as best you can, but never cross the bridge that leads to the village that you are suppose to protect. The tanks never spawn and you get the Accomplished, if an enemy vehicle comes across the bridge, you went too close.

Enjoying it so far. I've been playing OpenRA multiplayer on and off for a few years but love playing through the single player of this which I guess I haven't done since C&C Gold which was the original C&C but for Windows 95 so ran slightly higher res with improved sidebar graphics, I think used on the console versions of the day. Still got my original DOS C&C and RA boxes copies stored safely

As others have said, its a tough game. A few of the missions are taking a couple of attempts to get through even on medium difficulty, mainly as I've forgotten which route to take on the map and where their base is etc.

This remastered version is great, love how you can toggle the gfx and the missions bring back great memories. Glad that EA left it alone and video cut scenes, dialog, music, units and such weren't put through their DERP (Diversity & Equality Review Process) to give us transgender Tan(ya).

On mission 8 I had to destroy 4 harvester's before they got broke, it also clears out their base as they send everything after you for attacking the harvester.

The AI on normal is hard as nails on the later levels, and those missions when you have no base it’s bloody near on impossible to get to the objective.
But thats why we love CnC right :p If an enemy tank rolls over 50 of my men again, I might just throw it out the window though.
It's making infantry practically useless when they have tanks, forcing my to build fleets of light scout trucks, roll on later game when we get some more toys.

I killed a light tank with one grenadier and with 2 it makes it unlikely they run over as it keeps changing target.

But when they get close, have to be careful and for sure with harvesters :)

Honestly if you so much as scratch the paint on one of the enemy harvesters, you might of well of killed Kanes 1st born, yet it's the only way to cut of there funding. Later levels are going to suck on Hard.

If the wall trick still works, things can actually get easier, as you can wall them in and harvester walled out. But cant build walls early on lol.

Looks like I got lucky as I have got the easier gdi mission 4 and also didnt have the mobious mission 8. I been picking the right most option on the map every time, if others are curious how I missed them.

I have been working down the mission list so doing them all, GDI 5B is just torture, so simple yet so annoying, you cant amass a strike force as they keep whittling you down by sending small forces your way, and I swear every enemy npc fires mini nukes. Will run out of Tiberium first.

I know hard is supposed to be hard, but the enemy damage needs toning down a little, I'm sure hard makes units more expensive to build also?

lol yeah it is indeed. The grenadiers are ridiculously powerful. I started with NOD and got to mission and had to switch it off last night, I tried a different mission today and that was just as hard LMAO

The A10 air strike can **** off!
