As you can see above my pings are within reason, ok to other peers, one being 400 odd... but every now and then I have a large spike/freeze ingame (can't move screen around) then eventually get kicked for lagging... even though 95% of the game time is lag free?!!
 
seems to be anywhere between 2-3 minutes most games, then sometimes longer. PC is i7 920, 6 gig ram and 580 GTX, so no reason for it to be hardware really and my connection to other games is fine...
 
For people with performance issues, maybe try this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=156776308#103007 - This disables replays incase you wondered.

I have no idea what kind of increase it gives, I'm guessing more of a boost if your using older CPU / mechanical HDD. I've not tried it tho and can't see it giving me much of a boost. CPU doesn't seem all that stressed running the game.

I'll check the AI tonight, bloody annoying though, brilliant game.

I've got an SSD for my rig/games etc to the above^^

Takes ages for my pc to load a battle but when I'm playing performance is decent. Also if I minimize the game it then chugs massively when I go back on it.

Q6600 @ 3ghz, 6870, 4gb ddr2.

Using high detail, high textures and everything else either medium or low.

Also the performance check lags massively on my pc and says I get 13 average fps, I think thats because the view is panned to ground level which I never do when I'm playing. I just use a normal isometric "rts" view. Panning the camera used to be terribly slow in coh 1 aswell so I don't think the games are desiged to be played that way.

Just a heads up, i got an email and on the flier it says COH 2 THQ but its not THQ its Sega now :P

must have been a real old picture haha.
 
The game is a real mess atm, its not balanced at all still like playing beta to be honest, real shame they rushed it out!

It will get balanced in time.

There is no ranked matches yet, no game lobby, no ingame friends list, it uses steam!

Performance wise it has memory leaks, if you leave the game open too long and dont restart it you will get problems, last night my 7970 was at 30% usage and getting 17 fps lol. Apart from that its stable just dont alt and tab too much :P

If anyone fancies a game ill pwn your ass :)

I dunno why its so slow for you? My mate runs an old pc with a 8800gts and a dualcore cpu and he loads same time as me on my SSD and i5k 4.8.
