Personally I have given up on the crash fest, I asked a few pages back did anyone else have similar issues and all I got was nope nope nope. I'm actually glad I'm not the only one that bought this broken joke

I'm playing at work and home while only seeing one crash and that was pre release. One system is ATI and the other Nvidia. I've not updated the drivers on either system for a while.

Now it seems to be sorted, I have to admit it plays brilliantly. Graphically is excellent and the various upgrades available during the game including commanders add to the gameplay

I really wish this had a ranked mode. I just couldn't get into the multiplayer with the current matchmaking. CoH was fun because you'd almost always get a challenging game but half my matches in this were mind bogglingly easy because the opponent barely knew how to capture territory and it makes it rather dull. Doesn't help that playing single player ranks you up which I'm guessing is what they're using for the multiplayer matchmaking?

Quite a few developers post on there, the forum is a better place than the steam/sega forums.

That god I didn't buy this.

It really isn't that bad

In comparison to the first it's at least a side move, ie. it's the same quality as the original if not better.

Loved the first COH for the campaign, had no interest in playing it online tho, just wondering how much gameplay is in the COH2 single player, would it be similar length to the first game in terms of the campaign?

I only play single player due to me being terrible at RTS, but I haven't touched the camping just be playing skirmish by myself and quite enjoying it. I notched up around 50+ hours on the original doing the same and I can see myself doing the same with the new one.

Anyone have any issues with starting the game. Since a few weeks ago I click to launch the game, cursor spins a bit then does nothing. Game is listed in task manager but nothing happens. Verifying the game doesnt help.

Can't say I've ever had this problem with COH2.

I managed to fix it, I think it was curse client causing an issue for some reason
