I think he will be more careful in future, you've made your point (several times).

As have you. Several times, we get it.

Brown nosing?

So I'm not allowed an opinion that some of you are being a bit over the top?

And we've had it. You think people are acting like some kind of pitchfork mob. etc. etc. Great.

I don't think wanting an apology and some action taken is over the top at all.

I agree as far as that goes, you should have an apology. That's fair enough.

I imagine Gibbo (I doubt Spie will be involved) will discuss it with valkia tomorrow and decide what to do from there.

And that's all most of us have ever been after. :) An apology and some action taken to prevent similar happening again.

Why do people not just wait until Monday. Just because you can post instantly about whatever you like, doesn't mean the top dogs are goign to be doing it. I have no doubt there is a discussion in the mods forums, asking for guidance here. I am guessign nothing will be done yet, as the owner of the forums has not decided what is going to happen.

So we're not allowed to discuss it as well?

Simple psychology. By keeping the topic going, there's less chance of the issue being thought of as having died down.

Ding. That too. Rather it wasn't just swept under the carpet, and kept hush hush. Was enough of that on Friday.

I think everyone really needs to move on. :)

I'm not quite sure what you expect to happen tomorrow. If any thing does happen it certainly would not be posted on here.

As already said Spie makes forum legislation and he and he alone will decide if any punishment is required/warranted.

As was said Over and over and over and over again by pretty much the entire PC gaming section community

At worst his don removed or a public apology!, by moving on it's just pushing it under the carpet. No worse than a thread deletion :(, is it really too much to ask for someone in ocuk to say

" Sorry "

Do we need to wait for Spie before any apology is given?

Other Dons have said that the person in question was a prat and caused a complete mess. Why is it so hard to get a sincere apology? :(

Discuss it? theres no discussion here, its more like a witch hunt.

Yeah, it's getting a bit silly now.

I wish the real problems were being discussed here, e.g. the issue of not quoting retailers whenever it suits OcUK but doesn't help the business anyhow.

Like the PC Gaming deals section.

It's now a given that OcUK will start stocking the popular games and any talk that will regard other retailers who stock said games will be banned and banished which is, well, retarded in the long term.

I think the rule should not be enforced until OcUK has a decent stock of the games (at least 50 well-selling PC titles) and can offer at least marginally competitive pricing.

For now it is just a crippling rule that won't do ANYTHING to force or encourage OcUK forum members to buy games from the OcUK store and it is certainly not going to affect

Plus we're less than 10% so why the hell would OcUK care if we discuss other etailers' deals in this subforum if it's definitely not an issue between regular members who shop elsewhere anyway.

His Donship removed would mean getting fired, if I'm thinking correctly, and that is not going to happen.

I expect him to apologise for causing the mess but all in all, he is not going to answer before us.
