It should be dropped really, I think some people have taken it too far and it was a huge argument over something relatively minor. That's all.

It's nice you think of yourself as a terrorist though :p

You are entitled to your opinion but a fair few on here think otherwise.

I see your point but this sort of thing has happened too many times in the past with heavy handed mods/dons and now I think enough is enough.

As another point, I find it amusing that Nath is finger pointing in the Motors thread.... unbelievable.

It really isn't minor, i wish you could see that!

For pretty much an entire section to be up in arms then 4+ pages of members wanting another member me to be unbanned has happened how often?. Mods having to come in and fix other mods mistakes is a minor thing on ocuk?. Then a meeting to be called on monday at ocuk HQ isn't a minor thing either. That was just valk, then add into account Nath's post which inflamed the situation. I understand you are trying to keep it calm and just want to move on but there are many members here who are still burning torches and pitchforks at the ready :p

It wouldn't surprise me as well that we have of wounds from previous experiences on this forum so it's given some members fuel to the fire.

By relatively minor I meant the original subject was minor (clarification of competitor rules), not what transpired afterwards.

the original subject wasn't really minor at all, in October it would have lead to a massive **** up.

as every one who never saw that thread started getting banned left right and centre for posting the news and the inevitable launch week sale offers.

then all the threads asking what happened to those people and so on and so on.

Nath said that the forums "only" make up 10% of the customer base, which was in response to us saying that it's ridiculous how OcUK's customers are being treated over something so petty as the Competitor rule and its countless revisions and contradictions.

He then acted surprised that people were offended by it and started going on about context.

That comment does appear very dismissive but I'm quite sure he didn't intend it that way :p

I also think it's probably incorrect.

I just find it funny that a staff member would make such a gaffaw.

If I didnt have a life, I would be outside OcUK HQ with a giant banner in the morning
