Simon is correct x299s channel support depends on cpu.

Kabylake X is dual channel, skylake X is quad. On Skylake X in quad 4000+ is no issue. Solid Imc.

We shall only be doing Trident Z (Black/White) and Trident Z RGB, as they are quite unique and are also Samsung B die. The regular stuff we won't be doing, likewise for other colour combinations on Trident Z though they are now pretty pointless with RGB being available and RGB only adds roughly £10-£20 to a kit.

Good to hear Gibbo. Any idea on when these will be coming in? Looking at putting a spec together with either the 8Pack Teamgroup stuff or Trident Z.

That's the chip I would go with, but really wanted to see if Coffeelake comes out? x299 platform is very overpriced and also couldn't use my dual channel ram. I'd have to buy a new kit

Might hold off until I see some news.
