Confess your gaming sins...

1. I've put less than an hour into probably about 50% of the games I've ever bought, and this goes all the way back to when I was young, I play them briefly once and never go back.

2. I've bought Diablo 3 5 times. once on PC for myself, and once as a gift. twice on xbox 360, the original and the version with the expansion and once on playstation 4.

3. related to 2. I prefer diablo 3 on console... at least I prefer playing it couch co-op on console.

4. I have put way way too much money into star citizen, like a whole extra zero too much, and I've barely touched the alpha. I am still hopeful that it's going to eventually be something amazing, but I have stepped away to give it a few years to cook :P

Savescumming, can't help myself sometimes. Hated Witcher 3 for its bad combat, lack of stealth and spell casting mechanics. I have a friend whose father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate used to 'acquire' some games for 'free' but feels remorse for it.

The first isn't really a sin - the second maybe - but I've not actually completed it myself despite overall liking the game - something about the corridor to hub fighting pattern eventually bored me.

(Re Doom) I got to the bit where you had to fight the same boss for a second time immediately after the first attempt, got my hide tanned even on kiddie level so called it a day. Shame as some of it up to that point was enjoyable, particularly the part where you climbed up the tower but it was as if they designed the SP game to emulate MP, very little skill or tactics involved. Guess I got used to VATS in FO!

1) I dislike kids when I play online - Hearing a kid through speakers/headphones sends shivers down my spine and I will quit.
2) I buy PC gear that I don't need but tell the Wife I need it and my games are running slow and this will make things better.
3) I have so many games in my library that I have not played even once or bothered to install. My intentions were good but I end up playing the same games.
4) I have never gone sick when a new game has launched that I have seriously been looking forward to play, even though I said I would.
5) I used to be a terrible pirate and never bought any game all the way back to the Amiga days.
6) I have bought many games that I had a naughty copy of and enjoyed, as I felt bad.

Number 6 is surely no sin?

I'm on hole 1186 of desert golfing and I don't know why.

I can't stand games that are heavily reliant on others in a competitive way since touching overwatch.

Caught my self doing 2 more today...

1) Goading to my AI opponents in Dirt Rally after finally getting 1st on a very hard stage (using a controller and having everything set to hard is no easy feat!)

2) physically trying to peak around a corner in a FPS... Yea, I've done it a few times.

Lol!

Bought a 1080ti and a X34a to play at 100hz, ultrawide 3440x1440 with Gsync but for most of the gaming time play BF1 my PS4 which doesnt support any of the features!

Also instead of playing the latest and greatest ive found myself going back to some classic games like NOLF 1 & 2!

Crazy how similar this is...

I have a 5960x, 1080ti, x34a, it hasnt been turned on for the past 3 months properly, it makes me sad because I really want to game, but I either don't have the time or I get disinterested quickly.

I remember the days when I had a cruddy laptop, I played any game that it would run, now I can run any gaming my appetite has all but disappeared.

Saying that I picked up Shadow of War and that is fantastic (played in bedroom with TV and different PC).

I know there's some 15 year old kid out there that is playing on a cruddy laptop and would do anything to get their hands on my setup that I'm not using and is just sitting there... on the same hand I know if I sold/got rid of it, I'd miss it the next day.
