RTM is same as official release , it will get same updates etc(even some updates are out already ),beauty of RTM now is you can install it straight away rather then wait for the mad rush in two weeks time.


I can report in my case no issues with Win8.1 Pro x64 RTM,working great here and as a gamer as well that is important to me .

has anybody had these bugs. after installed 8.1 the screen looks like it's in 800x600 res even tho it's in 1920x1080, also on the chrome bar the buttons seem to move up, on win8 they are always in the center of the chrome bar

You need to install using the RTM key and then activate with your Win 8 key.

RTM will just get updated to latest whatever version from what I read on those links just like Win8,so not an issue.

Yeah that's was to be expected, it was the same with 8.

Tried to install this but when the installation was complete the computer rebooted and said that Windows was unable to install the update and loaded up my previous configuration.

Not sure if I can be arsed to troubleshoot...
