So will the prices be staying at:

E6300 Price: £129.95 (£152.69 Including VAT at 17.5%)
E6400 Price: £154.95 (£182.07 Including VAT at 17.5%)
E6600 Price: £214.95 (£252.57 Including VAT at 17.5%)
E6700 Price: £349.95 (£411.19 Including VAT at 17.5%)
X6800 Price: £659.95 (£775.44 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Those seem like nicer prices if they're to stay there. :)

HI there

Yep thats now accurate, but if the dollar changes then the prices could go up or down dependent on dollar rate. I can't see Intel changing the pricing except for maybe on the E6700 and X6800 in September. The E6600 and lower are exceptional value as most E6600's hit 3.2GHz on air cooling I believe which makes them the equal to like an FX68 in performance is such a CPU existed......

We welcome these nice changes!

Off-topic: Gibbo, will the price of X1900's come down a little by the end of July/early August? This is when i'm getting my new system.

Hi there

Very unknown ATI's prices are about right for the performance. We are offering the HIS X1900 XT ICEQ3 right now on This Week Only at a very good price. :)

I wonder what sort of overclock you would expect out of that? Very expensive but still interested, got a few quid to burn! :)

HI there

At this moment in time unknown. Crossfire is supported but for SLI you may require the new nForce boards that will come out soon.

Looks like Gibbos adjusted the prices to sit right in the middle of my predicted pricing :D

I think I deserve a FREE conroe cpu of my choice, just for providing them with such valuable info :D

well it looks like these prices fall nicely within my predictions from as far back as May ;)

Conroe E6700 (2.67GHz) - $529 / £370 - £453

Conroe E6600 (2.4GHz) - $315 / £220 - £270
.
.
.
I'd say the E6600 @ $315 will probably be £220-270 over here - but that's just my guess.

But if you were on a budget the E6300 @ $210 will be around £150-180 I'd have guessed!

HI there

After having meetings with Intel this morning and been the first UK company to actually give Intel and their distributors orders for Intel latest processor we are now able to offer them on sale at OcUK.

Product is expected to arrive approx middle of July 2006.

As OcUK is the first company to place orders we get priority allocation which means OcUK will not only be the first with product but will also have more product availability than anywhere else in the UK/Europe. :D :D :D

Are they going to be sold as per the order of the orders received!?
