'Contact lost' with Malaysia Airlines plane

My 5th day analysis and assumptions:

1)The Malaysians shot it down thinking / knowing that there were terroists onboard but panicked realising that most of the passengers were Chinese.

2) Transponder turned off by hijackers, plane descended to below radar (or there abouts), landed skillfully on a short "off record" runway but the pilot, who, let's not forget, built a home simulator of the 777 for fun. If anyone would know how to land that plane short, it would be him

(2) what would they do with all the passengers?
I know there are some religious nut jobs about but killing 239 people is way out there.

Why kill them at all. They could become bargaining tools, assuming that they haven't died of thirst / hunger.

If it was in the sea, 5 days of tides would have washed up something, somewhere

As most were Chinese I doubt they could bargain with china. But if true we got to look out for a stray 777.

While those theories may not be likely, we certainly can't rule them out entirely. Who's to say what really happened?

This is definitely not Lysander's 2nd account

"Schrödinger's cat"

until the plane is found every theory is possible however remote :p
