I haven't, 2700x and x470 in the basket
But we know it's not going to be, that's the point really. We know the price and can have a pretty accurate educated guess at the performance.
I meant buy it elsewhere for less than £500. I paid £403 lol.
Alas 2700x is a good shout too.
its the best gaming chip there is. only problem is some retailers are gouging it to 600+ when the real price is quite a bit lower. im sure this will change in the next week.on avg its 20 percent quicker than any amd chip in games. its only the gouging thats soured what basically is the best gaming chip available. shame really.
And will still be very relevant in 6 months time. AMD's 7nm will no doubt close the gap and maybe win some games, but not all. After that it will be onto new chipsets for both Intel and AMD.

According to who? Have benchmarks been released yet? I thought even Intel's paid-for benchmarks only showed a 15% difference on average...
It'd still be £450-460 without gouging, so around 50% more than the R7 2700X.

Actually it's RRP is £370/£380 lol. Anything above that is gouging.
