Corsair H50 Water Cooling Kit

i've just heard that the H50 dos relay on case airflow to get the best results (like most coolers i spose!) and that the radiator that gets put at the back of the case is designed so that you draw air in from the back of the case which then means you have to re-configure your case fans as normally people have the 120 fan at the back for exhausting air so that the air flow goes from the front of the case and out the back.

thats not what I found I'm afraid. My 4.2OC was also at 1.31v (BIOS) and after a 10pass IBT test on very high temps maxed out at 80c for the H50. dont know for the megahalems as I didnt try it when I had them.

that was with akasa apache fans in push/pull exhausting out of the case. (opposite from corsair recommendation, I find it better. I think when it pulls air from outside it scoops up the hot air from the GPU).

Everyones here know you still doing misleading posts with some of it are different version on cpuz and why it not full load and the different clock speed. No ones is not going to believe you.

Come on mate, for a real fact, tell them HONEST! and stop being big-headed once for all. You're know that Corsair H50 is no where near the best on the air cooler exspecially high voltages on 1.31vcore for 4.2Ghz overclocking.

Set up a proper water cooling liquid is the best and far better than the H50. So, if you want to be more honest with others here, please do so.

I know and isn't stupid myself that some of the posts from you is unbelieved telling different stories.

Ah, Bulldog or is your name supposed to be something else.....

The guy who showed us his 4ghz with 66c load, only he disabled the multithreading, and also the the same guy who changed the tjmax to make it appear he had lower temps than he did.

This is the same guy who posted temps for a 4.2Ghz OC and left realtemp running, but didnt start prime95 until later to make it appear that prime had been running for longer than it had.

If you remember Bulldog, the above test was done at your request in a previous post, it was done in the way you requested and for the duration and the screenie was taken as you requested, but when invited to do the same you suddenly went very quiet.
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18043882

There is nothing misleading about the 4.2OC IBT test.it is there in black and white, the idle and load temps can be seen in core temp 50c, 80c. Linpack output is there, the successful message is also there as with cpuz for cpu info. it is pointless taking a screenshot before the test is finished due to it may fail thus invalidating the test. The one post that was misleading has since been deleted, not because it was purposely misleading anyone but because I stopped the prime test before I took the screenie and it stepped down thus it could not be proven.

I suggest you get your own house in order, before you go making baseless accusations at others.
Also In response to the Corsair being as good as a WC, If you can read, you would have read that I said it is as good as the better aircoolers, not watercoolers which is another story entirely.

Where is your proof of your findings with the H50 and Megahalems?

you can take the results at face value or not, that is your choice, but saying I am being completely dishonest on purpose is plain wrong. I would love to know how to fudge an IBT test, but i do not, do you..?

Ok, One more prime test for al you H50 disbelievers out there, This Prime test is running, it has just completed the 1024k blend test, cpuz and realtemp were started just before the primetest began.
Case temp was 27c according to my aerocool fan controller, how accurate that is. I have no idea.
I am not trying to kid anyone, this is my rig and these are the results I get with it. I wouldnt know how to fudge these tests anyway.
this test was done a few minutes ago....

and here is my rig:

now hopefully this is helpful to some people who want to see what its capable of. I do not work for corsair or have any ulterior motive to make it seem any better than it is.
Everyone can make their own minds up, but please I have had enough of the sarcastic and derogatory comments.

To be honest , I am not interesting of your re-test all over again. I do own my H50 but I just pre-order it for my mother pc and my friend's pc too. I only use H50 for normal pc running but I use my own Prolimatech Megahalems air cooler for gaming and overclocking. Full stop.

More likely u use open case at all times ? No side case to put it back on ? It will heat up more once you closed the case and that's what happen to my H50 soared up to 88C when I closed the case. If open the case, it drop to 81C.

I don't like intake hot air blow inside the case from H50.

I rate out of 10 here because I do own both of it:

H50 7/10 (it ok for normal to medium overclock but not suitable for case closed or extreme overclock)

Prolimatech Megahalems 9/10 (great for extreme overclock performance but a push pull is best way but overall a great cpu cooler) I put 9 out of 10 because of no fan and no fan clip for push pull.

What happen to OCUK review on H50 ? Still no review from them to tell us honest as someone from ocuk did metion in the post that they will test out H50 and will post back review soon, but so far, none ?

Apparantly OcUK said they had 700 sitting in customs which was obviously a load of BS to get more pre orders which annoys me since they'd shown up in stock now. A Corsair rep also told me the EU doesn't even have 700 allocated to the whole of it nevermind one retailer due to a screw issue.
