Corsair H50 Water Cooling Kit

It's not easy to give more details about what happened but i will try.
My pc was ok for about 2 months, then durring gaming started freezing; blue screen; problem with start.
Don't know what exactly happened, and why. Just know that few drops get to my
sound card - pci slot. Not sure if anything else is damaged as I did not powered pc after incident.

Corsair - "There is no way for the unit to leak, so there should be no risk of the liquid inside the unit causing a short. "

Surely on the back of this statement they would be legally required to pay for your damaged components?

1. You have to sent faulty item to corsair (U.S)
2. What is the chance that corsair will say"yes that is our fault and pay for it" or they will say "this is customer fault and we are nor responsible for any damage caused"
so in this case you have to prove it first that it's manufacturer fault (independent company) Your own cost + Corsair have to accept this
If not??? What you can do to company in U.S if they not willing to pay for damage?

on another note, if your H50 fails you have to send it to the US and you will wait for at least a month for the replacement. This is bad service.

Will OCUK accept RMA for this or does it have to go back to Corsair?

You could always go on judge judy...

Do you have any pics of the H50 and where it actually leaked from?

I can guarantee Corsair will have a disclaimer in their warrantee t&c's saying they won't be held responible for damage caused to any other component by a faulty H50.

I would like to use 4 screws in each fan rather than two as I am doing a push/pull config. Does anyone know what size/type I need to ask for at the local hardware shop?

Yes it is the screws that are for attaching the fan to the radiator that I am after.

Also I seem to have 8 of the screws marked as I in the instructions. However there are two different sizes as one lot fit in the parts marked H and the other 4 don't.

I noticed a post on the Corsair help forums where a guy had managed to screw all four ( not sure which four ) into the rad so far that he had bent the rad blades behind each screw, so watch out for that.

Unfortunately I don't have the H50 to check for you :(

I believe the the 25mm fan fixing screw set from ****** works,I'm getting some on saturday to mount my second fan so will report back if its ok.
Sorry, didn't realise you couldn't post other electical component shops names on the forum,I do apologise, very sorry.

FAO nikbear did these prove to fit properly?
