The Corsair store will send you a whole 1156 mounting kit for free - all you have to pay is the postage - $5.

i done it a few weeks ago it cost £3 for delivery

just go to corsiar website and go to the shop just click on the product and go though the order proess! and i took 5 days from ordering to my house! because it comes from the usa!

Quick questions - Would this Fractal Design 140mm fan (600RPM, 9dBA, 39CFM) be quieter/stronger than the stock one that comes with the H-50?

Most likely a 39 CFM 140mm fan will be less noisy. I don't have a dB rating on the Corsair fan.

The H50 only has mounting points for 120 mm fans so I don't know how you would mount a 140 mm fan.

It can be done with a bit of determination and ingenuity I'm sure. I'm just not sure of how much good it will do.

Some 140mm fans come with 120mm mounting spacings, my scythe one did at least

I have now fitted mine with a pair of Xilence Red-WIng fans, Made quite a difference to my temps. I also have a pair of them blowing air from the front and the top bay is clear so Cold air is being blown directly into the case and not through the drives. I,m running mine to blow the air out of the case and it seems to be working very well with my fan setup and nice and quite too.. Couple of pics show what i mean..

Anybody have any idea if this will fit into a Thermaltake DH-101 Case ?

From this picture you can see the only 120mm fan socket is quite a way from the CPU (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Thermaltake/DH_101/images/caseopen.jpg). My concern is the relativly short pipes wont reach that far ?

If not, can anyone recomend a decent alternative (even air cooling) that will fit in (max heatsink height is around 13.8cm.

dont quote me but i doubt it, ive not got mine anymore to measure but that fan looks very close to the bottom of the case, there is a bit of overhang on the rad

Got mine today, got 2 apache fans on it, my Q6600 1.41v straight to 3.7ghz - prime loaded at 67- 70 accross all cores, absolutely awesome for a 50 pound unit and when im not overclocked it even beats the temps that my previous dual rad loop was giving! got it mounted in the front of a mozart TX case - pics soon/later this week - tommorow I belong to Avatar

Would 2 x Apache Blacks (57.5cfm, 16db, 1300rpm) be better than 2 x Fractal Designs (38.3cfm, 15db, 1000rpm) for Push&Pull on the H50?

If so I'll be ordering atleast 1 asap to replace the stock fan ¬_¬

Snap i was gutted to do the same then to round it all off i went for the haf 922 case over the Thermaltake Element G which was £94 last week and now they have slashed £30 of that case.
