Is that HDDS in the top?

thinking about getting one of these is the airflow good on the front i noticed the front panel has a block and not grill does the air come in from the side of the gap? its put me off it a bit still debating to get 450d

the airflow is quite decent. gaming on air at the minute and never had a throttling issue.
whenever I bench or stress test, I just pop it open to make sure but it's not necessary
it draws air from the sides

yeah i noticed that only thing that put me off was someone had a candle inside the case and it wouldnt blow out while the front was on and when it was taken off the candle blew out only reason i find this a issue is my 280x toxic does get hot

ah the famous candle test! haha
to be honest, I think it's a bit of a non issue as the difference won't be drastic.
however, I do believe they are working on somenthing:

so took the plunge after debating what case to get only probelm is how long is the cable seen something about headers and fans are short and make it hard to install components

Just got my 750D on the weekend - time to strip down my 540 Air.

Nice case, was surprised though that the forest still had older stock (the revision with the 'volcano' standoffs).

Not quite as well built as my old 700D was but can't complain about the space!

10c drop on the top card. I have the fans plugged into the motherboard and controlled from there. Working well enough for me. However, the main noise from my system when under load is from both cards, but this is not something I am going to get away from unless I watercool.

Finally completed the transfer from my 540 air - knackered!

Sorry bowt the crappy phone pics:

Thanks to overclockers the new acrylic insert for the AE5 made is actually look very nice on the front of the 750D - no need to mod it :)

Plenty of space left inside - if I ever decide to go xfire I can easily add another 120.2 on the bottom with minor adjustment to the existing loop

Got my 750d in the works and am wondering what you guys think would be best for airflow with mounting a top 240 rad (h100i) and a 120 rad on the 295x2.

I was thinking of putting the 120 rad on the top(with the 240) or rear as an exhaust with the bottom and front fans as intakes. Or if it would reach using it as an intake from the bottom, anyone got any ideas/feedback?

I was surprised tbh. Top card was hitting 84 in heaven bench, now at 74c. I had to move the blower card to the top slot for best performance. Also wedged a piece of rubber between the cards to provide a small gap at end of cards for better airflow. Used bungee cord to tie the fans to the top of the case. Not very elegant, but it works.
