Corsair RBG Owners Club

If you are using USB3.0 port, you can just plug in the connector with a Keyboard icon.

Via USB2.0 port, you will have to plug in both connectors. Note: Plug in the connector with the two arrows icon first, and the connector with the keyboard icon second.

I'm assuming that's Gen1 USB 3? as on my motherboard all I have is USB 2.0, 3.1 Gen1, 3.1 Gen2
goanna try it now as I'm running out of USB slots lol

So does the Strafe RGB get some love in here as well? :D

So close to ordering one of these but not sure If the white backplate blending all the colours together is a good thing or not.

I did own a K70 rgb briefly but didnt like the feel of the Cherry reds and missed the little LED screen on my G15. I think i would get the Strafe Brown.

It actually looks very nice to me personally, although I have not tried having different colors for each key. Groups of keys together having the same color come off well with minimal bleeding. I will try to get some pics later this week.

Test sample from Corsair directly, although one brick store chain here in the US has been selling them already well before the retail release date lol.

Nice! Do you like it then? How does it compare to the k70 rgb?

My only experience with the K70 RGB was a few minutes at Quakecon. The Strafe misses out a few things like the better overall build quality and the dedicated media buttons, but has extra keys, USB passthrough, a revamped lighting hardware which actually does give full 16 million colours and should come in at a lower cost. Finally, the Cherry MX Silent is a Strafe RGB exclusive for now if that's something you want.

Have you played around with it yet?? better get started ;)

Yup, been playing with it for close to a week now. I thought CUE for the mouse was so.. functional, but this really takes it to the extreme. I will be taking the board apart real soon to see how the internals are.

Could you thank this Corsair Joseph guy for me? He arranged for the keyboard to get here :D

Cheers vsg28.
When's the UK release date for the silent rgb strafe in the UK guys?

I don't have this info at the moment, but last time I checked, should be around Nov. I can check again and find out if that has been changed.

Edit: Looks like OcUK has them already, https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cors...-gaming-keyboard-ch-9000121-uk-kb-052-cs.html

Anyone know why the Corsair keyboard prices have shot through the roof? Have the K70/95 etc been replaced by Strafe or something?

How much were they before? There must have been a promotion of some sort as to why the prices dropped.

The STRAFE RGB is not going to replace the K70/K95 RGBs. They are going to co-exist in the market.

My boss at work got the K70 Red (not RGB) blue keys for £80 from the rainforest. Back up to £130 now, and £120 here.

Got my new toy up and running tonight. Weighs a tonne!

Had a k70 rgb for a short while and so far prefer the look of this.

Nice! Once you get the hang of it, let us know if you like it better than your K70.. because I'm really starting to like mine over my K70. I've been gaming with it for quite sometime now, it's flawless :)

I have the K70 red and after adding some red rubber bands to dampen the sound of keys, I have been really enjoying it. Probably the best keyboard I ever had.

It is a shame the media keys have been removed on the strafe, I love being able to adjust sound from my keyboard. Deal breaker for me as I like being able to change colours and would consider upgrading.

The perfect keyboard for me would be the k70 rgb with a mini screen. Only problem is I would not want to pay more than £150 for it, and I get the feeling corsair would want £200 for such keyboard which is too much.
