Cost of Living - Shrinkflation is speeding up at an alarming rate

Crap wage
Low number of hours
Increased council tax
Mortgage
Energy prices
Food prices
12500 tax allowance isn't increased so if I did overtime I'll reach the tax limit quicker.

I'm virtually breaking even until the mortage is paid off, luckily it's not that far away.

Having just read this, i'm trying to reconcile your low wage with your very expensive tastes in Hi Fi and AV products. The two just do not compute

You think people should work 40 hours a week for the basics? Is this crap country Victorian England now?

Maybe open your eyes and read, instead of immediately spouting rhetoric.

You are intentionally earning 12.5k, and that is covering basics as you said.

Now working more, the issue is only basics are covered?

Who says I'm earning £12k I'm not.

Plenty of other employees where I work are on shorter lesser contracts than me, it's a joke how can they survive.

Already have. Can't afford to buy food
Don't have kids
Don't have car
Don't have pet
Don't have large debts
Don't have loan
Don't go on holiday

Joke of a country this place is, **** pay high living costs

Emigrate?

You’ll realise it’s become like this in the majority of the world.

Pretty obvious do I need to spell it out for you? Just under the £12k

I'd rather not contribute tax to this society

But you're cutting off your own nose to spite your face.

You'd rather live a stressful life, just to not pay tax?

Yes, paying tax is annoying, but the benefits of living stress-free money wise are great.

Have a think about it :-)
