Graphics are kinda pointless, everyone will run it pretty low anyway.
The main things im interested in is the anti-cheat, matchmaking and tick rate, it’s weakest points given that everybody has to go and use alternative solutions currently.

The new smokes look amazing. Going to be wild seeing the pros abuse the hell out of that.
They've really made everything pop in a much more natural way compared to the updates they've been doing in csgo

They made it brighter to look more like valorant? I like the new smoke mechanics though. and the Meta tickrate looks good.

Damn I've only just moved over to CS:GO after stubbornly refusing to move on from Counter Strike Source.

I was a Source player and never got into GO.
Might give this a look when it's out with my now grandad-esque reactions it will be tragic.

What was the tick rate before?
CSS was terrible. Hit boxes were awful, all the guns etc were awful. It was laggy, terrible movement yet at the same time easier. I don’t know the history well (I think those were my Uni years so I wasn’t gaming) but CSGO plays a lot more like 1.6 and that’s why it’s successful. CSGO happened when Valve realised you can’t just make a pretty game and hope blindly that it plays as well as 1.6, like they obviously did with CSS.
Edit: Interesting videos, are there more released? Smokes are going to be interesting if CTs can just throw a cheap nade to break them

Started playing from 1.4 (ish), enjoyed every version, including source, but CSGO was a disappointment to begin with. Only started to get back into it in the past couple of years
Happy for it to evolve into CS2 and cant wait to try it.

seems like its a miracle we got this. If people stopped buying from the Steam store maybe Valve will start developing games....just saying

The fact that al your stuff from CS:go carries over means new players coming back to CS after so long are gonna be toast from day 1
Excited to see CS get an update, but less excited because the "we're all getting into this again fresh" doesn't apply - I guess can always join newbie servers for a bit first, but still.
