Couple of Corolla T-Sport questions!

Looks ok in the other pics - just camera/lighting.

Also I would get the oil changed sooner rather than later for peace of mind. Who knows what's in there unless its documented. Could be the wrong grade and/or cheapo oil.

And renewing the gearbox oil wouldn't hurt. Made my cold shifts smoother.

Pictures exaggerate any paint defects, you can always tell in pics where my part of my door, rear quarter was blown in but you would never be able to spot it just by looking at it IRL.

It's because getting the paint to match precisely on two completely different materials would've put the car in a considerably higher budget range. You see it with lots of cars, it's purely down to one side being metal and the other plastic. Nothing to worry about.

No, this is not what is happening in this case as otherwise that bottom trim would match the bumper.

Yes I agree Pepsilol, but I really couldn't care less, it looks absolutely fine in person.

One of the front quarter panels has been re-sprayed too. (you can tell from the paint lip on the inside of the wing) Oh the horror!

One of the front windows is also a tiny bit loose in its runners. Oh the drama!

One of the headlights has gone a bit cloudy. Oh lawdy lawd!

There is a bit of curbing on one of the alloys. Oh sweet Jesus save us!

There are some stone chips on the bonnet. Oh ****!

One of the window rubbers needs replacing. Oh my heart!

:D

Sorry, I understood what you meant. :p

Despite the few little niggles, it is a very tidy car for the money, and despite the few little things I've uncovered, I'm still happy with what I paid for it. I did after all buy it fully expecting it to need a little bit of work!

Project for next weekend, getting a wire brush/some sandpaper to those hubs and calipers, and painting them with high temperature silver paint, and also finally do that headlight restoration.
