:( Woolmer dead, what a sad day for Pakistan cricket. My thoughts go out to his family:(.

God only knows if Pakistan will play their final match after this shocking death of their coach..the question is who will take over now??. Guess it doesnt really matter but what a sad sad day for Pakistan and Woolmers family:(.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday we were all cheering the results from two underdog teams, and today we start the day with Freddie's antics and now this. :(

I fully agree,

This terrible news puts cricketing shin-an-i-gans into perspective.

What a terrible loss, Always, Always respected Bob as did so many.

no more words to say now.

Meanwhile the Aussies absolutely ripping the Dutch to shreds...45/4 off 10 overs...at this rate the Dutch might not even hit 100 runs.

Canada just lost another wicket, 51/3 off 10 overs. Davidson smacking the ball around for a few boundaries, tried to go for another and got caught out...just hoping albeit clutching at straws that the Canadians can pull off a shocking win lol...but cant see it tbh.

Well the Aussies demolished the Dutch...beat them by 229 runs off 26.5 overs. Brad Hogg getting 4 wickets..not a bad warm up for the SA game for the Aussies....interesting match they have coming up next against SA.

Canadians still giving England all sorts of trouble, Mulla on his way to a lovely half century. Nice batting by the Canadians...still hoping that they pull off an amazing win.

On another note, seems like Woolmer suffered a massive heart attack at the hospital. Still a shock that a great coach like him has just gone like that:(.

Rip Bob :( i was only talking to the old man about him earlier, how good a coach he was, and how he would be the next English coach.

Really did come across as a top bloke (and tbh i bet he had the patience of a saint to work with the pakistanis :p )

He will be missed.

its quite scary actually to see the photos on cricinfo of him after the Ireland match and you just expect life to go on as normal. Then within hours you see new photos of Inzie being told the news. Feel so sorry for the big man too and indeed all the Pakistan team. One of the darker days in cricket for too many reasons.

Indeed a very sad day for Cricket and Pakistan, losing a very good coach :(.

On another note, Inzi finally decided to do the right thing and call it a day...in some ways im happy as he was getting too old and i dont think he was the right man for the captains job as he lacked the passion of previous captains. On another hand im sad to see him go as he was pakistans most prolific run scorer but i think he past his sell by date a long time ago.

All in all a very sad day for Pakistani cricket and cricketing in general. Pakistan have decided to play their last match against Zimbabwe, im hoping that they manage to win for Bob and his memory.

Inzi resigning here: http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/wc2007/content/current/story/286039.html
