Criticise the Saudis and you go home in pieces

I have not read all of this or seen Every new item on it, but why did hes gf wait outside for 11 hours ?, why didnt she go inside the building and find out why it was taking so long ?

Well they were worried about his safety before he went in, if they had done something to him then what can she do about it? She’d possibly be in danger too.

there's a very good chance they'll cancel the WWE event in November
There isn't. It's their highest earning event of the year and promises have already been made on the back of the incoming money. Plus the shareholders would flip out and then of course there's the little issue of being sued over violating a contract worth hundreds of millions :P

share price would have very little or anything to do w/ one PPV, especially a PPV in a country that got them a little bad press last time. in fact, depending on how things develop w/ the story, the shareholders might very well demand that the show does get dropped as siding w/ a country who carries out stuff like this could be very, very damaging.

It's not a PPV it's a "super show", and it earns them more than all of their other events combined (including Wrestlemania).

To put it in perspective, Shawn Michaels is coming out of retirement for the event because he's being paid so much he children won't ever have money issues. That's how much money WWE are getting out of the show (as the royal family see bringing such a prestigious event to their country as a massive national triumph). And that's just one guy, WWE is paying the performers record sums (and allegedly even paying the banned female wrestlers their appearance fees to keep things smooth).

Simply put they cannot cancel it, it would do much more damage to them than any amount of bad press plus it would also result in them getting sued for an eye watering amount.

well i'm not going to argue about it further, but so far apparently the Prince who booked them is the one who ordered the killing, and it's now coming to light that the royal family had ties to 9/11, so think about that if you wanna talk perspective, and consider what the shareholders think about that.
as for being sued over it, lol.

Is this crown jewel? Because the Sun are reporting that they've pulled it. No longer shows up on their online calendar apparently. Can't fact check as I'm at work.

Edit - Ignore me, apparently it's a clerical error and the show is going ahead.

Pretty sad state of affairs if the premier "sporting" event for the country is some fat American actors play fighting...

apparently it was pulled from the calendar on the site but has since been returned, albeit w/ mention of Saudi Arabia removed.
think WWE will play this to the very last minute, going to be hard to pick the winning side to be on in this one.

I wouldn't mind being 6ft 9, roided up to the gills and being called a fat play actor by some Brit for millions of dollars a year.

I don't doubt they're laughing all the way to the bank, the point wasn't about the actors but rather this seemingly being a prestigious event for the Saudis.
