Crysis Demo

Personally it makes me mad as hell developers are getting so lazy and using this crap deferred rendering technique, but I can't imagine the performance hit Crysis would take with real MS FSAA with all the foliage.

How do you know for a fact that they use Deferred Anti Alias?. This screenshot suggests otherwise.

err, i believe its been stated by the makers of GRAW that AA does not work because its using deferred rendering:

Antialiasing: Note, due to the type of Deferred Lighting method used by the developers, regardless of your Post Effects setting, Antialiasing is not possible in the game - even if you disable Post Effects, or try to force Antialiasing in your graphics card control panel. This is an unfortunate and contentious aspect of the game, since the gameplay relies a great deal on identifying small movements in your surroundings; something which the lack of antialiasing makes much harder due to jagged edges constantly moving and shimmering. However it is not resolveable as far as I know, so it's unlikely to ever be "fixed" by patching. Turn off any forced Antialiasing in your graphics card control panel, as it will not work regardless of which graphics card you use, and can only cause slowdowns and problems with GRAW.

I may just be able to accept your gift.

You mean to say that its impossible for it to be changed? Just like its imposible for 2 + 2 to equal anything but 4. Instine did try prove it equalled 5 but his logic is flawed because to do so you must have to divide by 0, which is not possible.

And what about if you live in differnt countries it would come out on differnt days due to time zones :P

It is not impossible for it to be changed no but the DEMO date is 25th September FACT no speculation no rumours good old FACT from EA/CRYTEK. Whether EA/CRYTEK change that remains to be seen but when this happens then we can debate wheather the date is fact or not but until then it is real FACT and you can most likely rest easily the demo will be coming then since they would have said otherwsie by now ;).

P.S It's Einstein.

2+2 = 4

even a 3 year old knows that.

as for dividing things by 0 i do it all the time, bring a cake home, divide by 0 other people = i get it all. :D

I like this type of logic :p. Also the Einstein story sounds odd I can't understand why he would have done that never heard that before

einstein was thick, he used to wag school to sit under apple trees hence why he never learned how to do 2+2, and the only science he learned was under the apple tree when a apple fell on his head (so he claims).
i doubt he was the first person to discover mavity in the whole world, probably just where he lived.

Um .. Isaac Newton then?

Crysis beta currently does not support AA, its there, it can be enabled and you get a performance hit but its doesnt work correctly.

Ive used it on my 2900xt and while some edges are smoothed out, most are still jaggy, reminds me of GRAW's implementation of AA (ie p*ss poor). The full game will support AA correctly (most likely in dx10 only though).

Lol, that's just about the stupidest thing I've ever seen you post. He was only one of the most intelligent people ever, if not the most.

Are you like 8 years old or just plain stupid? :p

As above it was Newton that got hit on head by an apple sitting while under the tree.

Albert Einstein is more famous for his theory of relativity and specifically mass-energy equivalence, E = mc2.

It is possible to work out how 2+2=5 i have done it (i do further maths) unfortunetly i cant remember im sure you could find it on the internet if you were bothered. But to do it you must divide my 0 which is not possible. 10 divided by 1=10 10 divided by 0 equals? Im sure someone here will try argue it but i can assure you it is not possible :)

But it is possible to take the square route of a minus number ;) I do love further maths lol. You can use "imaginary" numbers to make a "complicated" number lol.
