None that I'm aware of, Cevat Yerli said the game will scale back about 3 years in terms of hardware though and play nicely.

im hoping to run it full speed at 1366x768 with my overclocked 8600GTS and 2.4C2D, shouldnt be a massive stretch, its a direct X 10 card.

Eep, I dunno mate. Have you seen the benchies for the 8600GTS on Company of Heroes/Lost Planet?

They are badly coded ports and patches. Although didn't they recently update Lost Planet which made it better?

If its well optimised, then it should run well, combined with the relatively low resolution, it should run pretty well, ill suck it and see anyway

Not sure on the latest patches for Lost Planet, will check it out - was working from memory of a review I'd read a few weeks back. Didn't realise CoH was a port... from what - 360??

Hopefully stuff is going to get better, because even recent benchies on top DX10 hardware are a bit sketchy. Well, I say sketchy - still well within acceptable limits. I spend way to much time looking at UT2K4 and Q3:TA benchies in the 100's lol.

The DX10 is CoH was a patch, not true DirectX 10, wasn't coded from the ground up to be DX10, it's like a bolt on.

Lost Planet is a buggy Console port and CoH aint much better with a DX10 Patch.

Wait 5 days before you jump to conclusions about a Real PC coded DX10 game.

Was Crysis coded in DX10 from day one then? Or was it DX9 converted to DX10 when the SDK was released to developers?

Now you know a demo date. An estimation of how it runs on the beta testers (if they have their rig in sig it's another Brucie bonus

Its a Real DX10 game but will obv play in DX9C for others on XP and with non DX10 cards.

Don't really care what settings I run it on so long as it looks good and is in 1920x1200

Crysis on low could look better tan other games on high etc

I played the buggy MP Beta @ 1920x1440 with all settings at highest they go and Nvidia driver at High Quality setting with Super AA ON and got 35FPS Min, now that a lot less than BioShock or MOH-Airbourne but it is MP which can lag anyhow and it is a buggy beta, I know the SP final build will be better.

What resolution is this at? Id say high settings on a 8800 640mb GTS but no way a 8600 GTS. Is this 256mb?

A fact must be proverble and definite with no exception. An estimation is not a fact and neither is a due date for a demo when its in the computer world
