Crysis Demo

Let's just wait for the demo before we start adding 'too' much speculation.

Remember, it's STILL gonna only be a demo, so it may perform badly compared to the actual game.

It is possible to work out how 2+2=5 i have done it (i do further maths) unfortunetly i cant remember im sure you could find it on the internet if you were bothered. But to do it you must divide my 0 which is not possible. 10 divided by 1=10 10 divided by 0 equals? Im sure someone here will try argue it but i can assure you it is not possible :)

the only way 2+2 is gonna = 5 is if you somehow manage to make a mistake in the calculation of adding up the 2 numbers. and if you manage to do that then your a very 'special' child indeed :D:p

all demo's iv come across so far ahev always performed the same as the final game. only in some cases has the performance of betas been different to the final games. lots of bugs to be worked out in crysis yet but from the graphics i seen it do it fully justifys the use of a high spec pc, not like some games which require high end pc yet the game will still look crap.

2+2+1=5. Blimey im a genious :D

LOOOOOL :D:p

actually if i remember right there used to be some early pentium cpus that used to have some problems doing some calculating which would have done a 2+2=5 job.
can;t remember anything specific of the problem now since it was a long time ago.

i bet some crazee physics bloke could make 2+2 = 5 physics is the biggest load of ballcocks out theres .you can make anything possible with pysics ask lee harvey oswald.as for crysis starting to off it already cause how its being handled and the multis looking not up to what id been hoping for.looks like its gunna be a halflife 2 great single player game.

?? whats physics got to do with maths? 2+2=5 is not possible unless you change the equation or simply don't know how to add up numbers. lol

anyways lets get back onto track.

someone posted in the games section saying crysis maker said the demo will not be 70% more faster than the beta because its just impossible.

i can;t see how they can make the game any quicker than it already is without having to drop details or something. what crysis is doing is complex enough as it is. and in single player mode you have to add the AI overhead too so if anything its gonna be slower.

It was something to do with floating point operations when the number of decimal places was too great, but I am also unable to remember specifics.

yes your right there was deffo a floating point bug, but its too long ago for me to remember fully. and too lazy to bother searching about it. :D

i might be wrong but couldnt u do the 2+2 = 5 with number bases so it adds up cant remember that far back :rolleyes:ie 7=10 and so on

You show how very little you know.

I can rember some of the calculations but not enough to get to the end result. It is achualy very simple. I was shown how you can make it so mathmaticaly 2=1

Starts off with saying A=1 B=1

A=B

Then you play around with the letters a lot untill you get into factorising A and B. On the right hand side you divide it by its self and you will eventually end up with A+B =B 2=1

But after factorising a and b you then have to divde by (A-B) which=0 and therefore is not mathmaticaly possible. Apart from that then you can make 2=1 :)

cyber mav you talk out your ass far to much.

I wonder if people will be disapointed with Crysis.

This game has got so much hype and coverage its unreal and if its not 100 percent perfect i can see some people slating it quite badly.

What do people think? :)

pls someone who has a good memory or is actually doing a decent maths degree or something just put up the facts cant remember it myself but i know it can be done.show us the money

Here ya go! As bigdave says though, this is a false proof as you're dividing both sides of the equation by 0 (since a-b=0). Now can we talk about the game?!

a = 1
b = 1

a = b
a2 = b2
a2 - b2 = 0
(a-b)(a+b) = 0
(a-b)(a+b)/(a-b) = 0/(a-b)
1(a+b) = 0
(a+b) = 0
1 + 1 = 0
2 = 0
1 = 0
1 + 1 = 1

what you have done there is use substitutes and such which alters the original equation. all that is being asked by the problem 2+2 is to add 2 numbers together and the result of 2+2 will always be 4 unless your retarded in which case you get 5.
the only thing you do by saying 2+2=5 is show that your retarded or your a preschooler who has jumped on the pc when mummy has gone out the the shops :p:p:p
