CRZ Supercharged * 2020 revival *

Did you try telling them the ancient proverb "Nath never strikes the same Little Chef twice"? :P

lmao strangely, no :p

Seems that this idea is going to be shelved them.

Maybe a different car will be on the agenda as I'm not gonna fork out for a modification whcih I then cant insure.

Tried the usuals like Flux, A-Plan, Sky, Keith Michaels, Greenlight etc?

That doesn't seem right or fair. :p

Do you live in a dodgy area? Are you a 17 year old who has hijacked Nath's account and stolen his car?

No but I do have claims on my name:

- 1st crashed supra £800
- 2nd crashed supra £8000
- vandalised car repair £4000

so not great lol

Maybe its a good thing for you to have a slower car for a while. ;)

In-fact, we could swap if you like. My car will sober up your driving even more.

I know, I know, I didn't have to offer, but I did. I'm feeling generous today.

Well that's why I chose the CRZ in the first place, something a little more sedate however I like it so much I would rather tune it than change.

Look like I will be hanging onto it in it's current form for a little longer still then!

Is that a no? :D

Yeah that sounds like a good plan. If you love it so much you'll probably end up disappointed with your replacement in some way.

aha I don't know what it is you drive?!

Yeah the problem is, if it is to replace my car I would would it to be:

- similar running cost
- similar age
- more performance
- around £13K
- able to insure
- be slightly left field

which narrows it down a lot lol

Glad a few of you are happy about this!

I have been in discussion with TDi North for a few weeks regarding the kit and the installation process so I am making sure that no stone is unturned before I commit to the install in Dec.

My old 1.0 Micra is still at my parent's house.
You can have it for £500 if need a car to learn to drive in for 12 months :p.

lmao I've been driving a hybrid for nearly 2 years now man, I think I'm to scratch now ;)

Here is a picture for the running man (I think) who was saying the CRZ is tall and ungainly.

here it is pictured next to a Suzuki Splash (supermini) & Hyundai i30 (family hatchback) maybe this will give you the scale of the car.

Yea that's not what I meant. I meant that the spoiler looks big because it's sat on the top of the rear which is already puckered upwards. Still that black thing and where the Honda logo is make me feel a bit uneasy style wise.

the rear of the car tapers down man, looking from the rear you can see the roof easily.

That black thing? You mean the rear window?

lol yeah that is infact the rear window, well part of it!

This thread is 17 (short) pages long, and still no YouTube video of you hooning it around with a supercharger fitted?! :p :(

Well there was a big discussion whether I should 'charge it or not, then an argument about what defines a hot hatch, then I couldn't get insured, then I could, then there was a discussion about how "tall" the CRZ is and now we are back here :p

The supercharger install is planned for December now.

I'm in the process of getting FN2 Type R brakes fitted to the front which has larger discs (300mm vs 262mm) which seems appropriate due to the extra power the car will have.

I also plan to get a LSD fitted prior to december too, so that the car is best equipped to deal with the bump in power :)
