Things like new guns etc should be inside testing builds or even casual only till they approved by the community then release into competitive...
You can't just keep releasing OP guns and then let testing... This game runs massive competitions..

At least they fixed the smoke bug. Had so many exploiting it on ESEA, Faceit and MM. Pretty sad.
Had one guy try to justify using it because "it's a game feature" sad. He and his buddies still lost 16-8 lol.
As for the R8. It needs a concept change and a damage nerf. No other weapon bar the awp should 1 shot without headshots. It's armor pen needs nerfing too. Really cannot fathom how something so fundamentally broken gets added to the game.
As for the rifle nerfs I'm just tempted to drop m4s and go Aug full time. Probably will end up keeping ak because the kreig is mehhhh and I really cba getting use to the spray. I'm really unsure about the rifle changes. There is a lot of a split info circulating atm. Guess we will see soon.

Yeah I understand that it looks no different than walling, Im sure the smoke glitch has been fixed now.

Done with this game until that revolver is sorted. Every kill in the top right yesterday was a revolver. I got hit across Dust 2 to either chest or lower, one shot kill on casual. Dealing 120 damage. Pocket Awp much.

Not sure if it's common or not, but when I buy the r8 it only takes $700 from me, the price says 850 but it seems it's only 700
Its a bug.
From reddit :
If you leave the game in the middle of the match to switch to desert eagle while you have the revolver equipped you pay 700 and it shows a desert eagle, but you still get a revolver instead.

Edit: important! You need to buy the revolver at least one time in game for full price then equip the deagle!

The bonkers thing about R8 is the way is goes through boxes with full damage. AWP sometimes go through a wall but mostly does much less damage but this revolver seems to do full damage, its actually superior in every attribute
Im sitting behind cbble platform B box and they just line me up and shoot straight through for 1 hit kill, that is a railgun or a proton accelerator - was 400 damage
I dont care how much it costs because Im not buying it, its a waste of time to learn however its working because its broken. If they kept it anywhere close to this, CS just ended and if they fix it will have to be relearned anyway
tec9 stuff still works, maybe harder to get a hs now which is what made it so deadly and OP. Sometimes it could be superior to m4 up close, but I think it might be too unreliable now and its a RNG spread I think. 2 hs for 2 kills in a second was possible before, have to see if that still happens.
Changes to rifle for me make spray really inaccurate, maybe better to stop briefly burst but relatively its nothing as drastic. I think thats the most likely to stay [RIP to the full auto spray transfer - 4k in one trigger pull]

ESL ESEA Pro league season 2 finals start today also. From what I'be headr they've made a decision to ban the R8 from matches.
They're using the previous patch for the tournament, without R8 and pistol/rifle changes.
Only logical decision tbh.
