according to my stats, I had a 55% win rate, mainly solo que on this account so not bad... i havn't won a match for ages. no point in having skins etc when i won't be playing the game for anything other than time wasting now
Is it just me that thinks CS has gone to crap lately? EVERY game im playing currently is with non-English speakers, people who buy every round and no communication what so ever.
I was LE, havn't played on my main for a while and STILL havn't won a game for around 4 or 5 matches. It is just the same every time. Seems like everyone just rushes every round, no gameplay just wanting to frag.
also seems like I can't get a kill at all, getting 97 for 6 or 99 in 3 etc etc even though im dinking headshots on the first fire
*edit* ooou, that is strange, I was just posting for a whinge more than anything, but I thought I would read back to when I last read this thread and noticed a lot of other people with similar issues, game seems to have just gone into a run and gun type thing now
about 80/20 for me with solo q

i litterally havn't had any info or anything in 6 matches. I am wondering if it is because i have no rank and they have put me way lower than i usually play at?
one thing that really annoys me is that they buy EVERY round... no eco... we went 24 rounds, not one eco other than the first round of each half, they were SMG buying, no armor etc

those games are horrible, not really a lot you can do in those situations.
There's no such thing as eco anymore with the R8
for the day pre nerf this was true, although i still find it good now. the deagle is better.

not seen many people play with it since the nerf. luckily i was on my smurf when that was available.

E.g. Weapon cases etc? What do these do exactly?
Also someone mentioned MG2? Whats MG2?
you can buy cases or keys or skins for guns.
case (5p - 10p average)
key (£1.65)
when you open the case you get a skin (2p - £1000's)
most of the time you get a skin worth less than youve paid for the key.
you can be lucky (i have been)
MG2 is the rank.
I must be the luckiest solo player here as I rarely get complete numpties. I'd say 1/10 games are spanners the rest I get at least 3 other decent players, even had a game the other with 5 English players, we were all very surprised as 3 of us were solo and only 2 were premade.

What level are you buddy?
I think you only gain XP from matchmaking (social and competitive).
The warnings I think you're referring to relate to competitive matchs. The old 5v5, competitive rules (buying kev, switching at half time, first to 16 rounds won etc).

CSGO is my main game.
HS my secondary.
the warning is for matchmaking (ranked competitive) basically. unlike call of duty (if your used to that kind of thing) if you quite from a mtch you get penalised, do it a few times and you wont be able to play competitve(matchmaking) for a nominal time (could be 30 mins, could be 7 days)
yeah ranks are only used in competitive (matchmaking) you need to get your profile level to 3 by plpaying casual games etc before you can do the competitive part.

cases are all skins, no benefit at all apart from looks. i sell everything i get from this game as i dont want them\need them.
Rank 2 + Drop means when you hit rank 2 you will get a case\skin
nope, dont buy them, dont open them. its a total waste of money 99% of the time. i mean if you have disposable cash and want to then go for it.
i stupidly did and all in all have put about £150 into them but i got good returns and ended up £1100 in profit (cash money in my bank)
recruit rank 1 is your profile rank. play deathmatch and arms race and get that rank to level 3. you can then play the matchmaking part.

sigh, just won a game (finally) still no communication, but the team played well and listened to me calling positions. managed to spank them 16-3. I'm now MG2 =( really cba to play it now.... 3 ranks below where i was because of idiots.
I wish we could somehow send in replays of the games, to show that our ranks don't reflect play style.

Ranks kinda do reflect your play style though to be fair. if you deserve to be a higher rank then you will be a higher rank.
If you don't then you won't. if your team is as bad as people make out and you are better than them, then surely you could carry them?
