Yeha on my main acc I'd won probably 10 games in a row at GE, then lost my rank from not playing MM.

Won my first game back and it drops me to SMFC :(

The amount (or active percentage) of global has almost halved from start of December to now. DMG or Eagle is about 9 down to 6% though these are still estimates

The skill level at MG2 still seems lower then 9 months ago so its not that dramatic overall. Rushing B with a glock, nope its time to stop mid rush mid tunnel . awesome and many more classics, never gets old :o

from 13-2 to a loss is most memorable but its down to coordination I think. With a random queue we got 5 rounds at half to 14-16 on office, I wonder how Nuke will be post update

I used to play 1.3 and its worth having csgo, it has a few new things and is cheap enough for the random game even if you dont play that much. They regularly add new maps, etc

went into a game last night on mm, got put with a team of 3 guys and 1 other randomer. the clan tag was "deranking service" and they did just that. trolled the entier game didnt move from spawn for first min of game and when they did they used pistols and knifes only, gave away free kills for the other team and never attempted to plant or defuse any bomb.
got de ranked for the loss which is a pita. they just kept saying its just a game have a laugh.... if thats the case dont troll ranked just play casual ffs
 
13 wins in a row now on second account and top fragged with 7 MVP's, hopefully when the ranking change ssettle a bit, if I can be consistent with the wins it'll eventually happen :p
 
What is happening with the ranking?

Rank hasn't changed for weeks but last night/today 5 wins, 2 draws no change.... 1 loss, de-rank, another loss another de-rank!

Double de-rank not fun.

Check WarOwls latest video. Apparently someone from the dev team posted on Reddit saying they've effectively meddled the ranks to make GNM the majority and scale accordingly. Or something like that. I'm.quite I'll and didn't take it in properly.

about time, i was supreme and i shouldn't be haha was boring not knowing if i would be playing against real supremes or accidental supremes who were as bad as dmg's

Global was 2.8% of players, now its 1.1% I won 2 lost 4 and went down 3 ranks so thats normal overall

We played some 2 teams of supremes due to anti boost code, was about 12 rank difference between teams. The first lot were fakes, we did ok as they missed many shots but they toggled on and second lot were excellent and well rounded. Our top ranks did ok but I was less use then a bot so kinda pointless to play as you have to kill in 2 or 3 shots tops, ending the last round doing 93 damage and no kill which of course is useless

Lost my GE rank due to inactivity. Now supreme :D same also happened to my team mate but he got put in LEM. In my last 20-30 MM games I've lost a maximum of 2 games. Gonna be very hard to get global and maintain it (if you play MM a lot).

Probably it will be like the before; global reserved for super keen players 5 stack queuing/pug stars orrrr hackers.

Wow that's dropping fast, if it was 1.1 when you posted and 0.9 now, that's a hell of a drop in 1 day.

I've managed to hold my rank but I'm only MG1 anyway, I don't think there has been much movement at this part of the table
 
Well this ranking shake up hates me. Every loss I go down one. MG1 to GN2 now. Wow.

Not too bothered mind you. But I started at Silver IV and worked up to MG1. Just wish there was some sort of explanation not just a random slope.

The ranks are supposed to be a reward for playing well alongside a balancing mechanism. Without any kind of warning and ranks dropping in what is already a somewhat stressful game it's a little irritating.

I'm just going to play and enjoy it and see what happens. This rank this has stopped me playing as much so in turn I'm not doing well just from lack of practise. But not terrible. So erm, yeah. Cheers Valve!

Damn that's harsh, the new system can be a pain. You play solo most of the time? Queuing with friends is better than with people that rage quit.
I personally think some of the lowers ranks will be more meaningful now, mg? The new dmg? :D
