CS:GO Discussion

So, after not using my main acc for ~3 months, I logged on and played a quick game. Account was previously on Global, but ofc I had lost my rank.

We won the game 16-4 and I got my rank back, only it was a few ranks lower than I remember...

Global to MG1? Seriously, Valve? :D

Global to MG1 is the worst Ive read about. Some pro player was inactive from prior to xp rankings so Spring 2015 I guess till now. Got to rank 3, did a comp game and placed to Eagle.

For any rank movement at all from nova 4, I first lost 10 in a row, won 13 in a row with 1 draw then lost 4 won 3 more to rank up in a game I got 5 kills sooo yea.. :o

If the mate is above MG2 it wont allow the same lobby even with 5 iirc

An old pro Kodiak and map maker was streaming a live game im playing in and I clutched 1v3 vs globals so I dont feel so bad about not having a clue *** is going on :p Very fancy looking map not sure it'll be in an operation or not

Got banned for 3 days from ESEA, Kicked a toxic Turkish idiot on the pug, Whole team wanted him gone as he was griefing like hell.. I got banned just because I kicked him, Read on google that the admins are terrible and not even to contest a ban as you get a bigger one. Joke, Tempted just to do a chargeback, Going to try out Faceit.
 
sums up my CS:go at the moment.

Playing a good game on dust2. Win CT side 11-4. Suddenly lose 2 players, no reconnects so two bots. Both bots always running down mid despite trying to block them/smoke it off etc.

Anyway game goes to 13-13, when pushing long doors with both bots behind me, I go to throw a HE, when I get nudged, bounced the nade off the door and back to kill the two bots and lose 90 health myself, kicked for doing to much damage to team mates!!!

Jesus - was on 34 kills as well!
 
Really? 100% of the time?

Will try next time, just had a bot for 25 rounds and almost won :<

Just pressing Z4 seemed to work like 70% of the time for me.
 
Been playing cs since 2005, got my 5 year badge on go etc. had go since the day it came out...finally got rank 3 :p Didn't play it for soooo long, and just played faceit games with mates whenever the opportunity arose because i refused to play pub, but i finally decided to grind out some public last night.

Man that was painful, bored stiff, but finally had enough of everyone complaining about faceit every time they wanted to mix haha

One more competitive game until i get a rank, yay :D Is it likely to rank me similarly to the people I'm playing with or against or based purely on my own stats in those games? Really don't like this silly rank system to be honest, everyone i play with is LEM or SMF though if that matters to what my rank might be?

Its hard to say, my guess would be anything between MG1 to DMG but that's based on my own experiences. I think you would have to dominate to get the LE rank to begin with.

DMG to LEM most likely then as LEM is the top first rank you can be ranked as.
 
Sometimes you've just got to hate the people you game with. Some of them I've been playing with since CS first released and were decent players back in the day. Nowadays the mistakes and game play they exhibit is causing me nothing but stress. I shouldn't get wound up by it but I do. Sigh. Can't have my cake and eat it I guess - I hate solo queueing, but playing with the people I know just ends in tears because they think they can play at a level much higher than they can.
 
Got my rank back last night after not playing for about a year ! I got up to dmg before, drew a game last night I finished on 48-17 , and got put in silver so I now need to rank up a few before I can ply competitive with my mate , is it hard to rank up ? Wondering how long it's going to take me :(
