Thats off reddit, the streamer is UK ex pro 4kings Onscreen. About the only old cs team I can remember so literally a legend :D
He does appear to have awful luck but also I guess he has got the average there.

Someone on steam from ocuk told me to do this like 2 years ago I forgotten who but they were totally correct kinda unbelievable. I got cases from then over a dollar now. Even those vanguard ones (pretty unpopular and spam almost at the time) are now rising and I dont know why exactly.
I remember seeing a profile with 20 pages of FN Desert Warfare P90 stored, the banned skin. Its not rare its mil spec and I thought it cant rise much but thats gone from 40p to over a quid now

Over all the hype of faceit I thought I'd give it a go.
Worst game I've ever had, two English trolls on my team just camping tower on cobble every round, made me ashamed to be British some of the **** they were saying. The other two players just as bad fighting fire with fire.

Exact same thing on the next game too.

Servers seem really bad also, got horrible lag/stuttering in both matches.

Hope it picks up as these two games have not been a good intro to faceit :(
 
That kinda stuff can happen on any service, don't let such a small sample size faze clan you.

In regards to FPS / Stuttering I bet you hit the giant orange button that says "PLAY" didn't you? Don't do that, copy and paste the text above "connect ********:pw**" and paste that into your console in game for best fps etc. Source engine issue with 3rd party launchers not faceit's fault.

edit...Dephh HYPE!!! Played quite a few ESEA games with him when I used to have it. Utter beast of a player, hoping he does great in Complexity.

My friend managed to queue ESEA on a free trial a week ago ended up on the same team as Kioshima and Onscreen then yesterday appeared on the same team as Karrigan and Pimp :eek:

I wouldn't mind that luck!

Can you close down your browser once you have the server details then? having chrome running messes with my fps after a while

That has always been my luck in FaceIt. Even with 'Globals'.
 
Yeah it's annoying that there is no good solution currently.

I don't want to pay for a subscription service to play some competitive games, it shouldn't be necessary.

I haven't found so much trolling on faceit, but then again I tend to use it with a 3 man+ lobby. These games tend to be too easy, guessing you have to pay to play against better opposition.

Other option is MM, which is still a mixed bag at Global. Occasional good game, but too many cheaters most of the time. Played a game last night where all was going well, I had a good round where I p250 eco'd and killed 4 to win the round in quick succession. They immediately called cheats, reported and then toggled. From then half of their team blatantly started using WH and aimbot, decided to abandon.
 
If you get up to rank 10 or so its apparently semi-pro players - that being said I've been rank 8 for some time and its still utter trash. Just had another complete waste of time - go 5-0 down as Ts on Dust, one guy leaves and the other guy just trolls and mic spams all game (both French, of course...). Make it 8-7 at the half and ultimately take it to 16-11, but 3v5 is never fun.
 
Just thought I'd have a quick game so I didn't loose my rank LE (haven't played for nearly 2 weeks), ended in a Draw, I topped the server and lost 2 ranks! now MGE lol oh well

so overall I was LEM, 1 loss took me to LE then a draw took me to MGE
 
Actually had fun playing CS for the first time in ages albeit it smurfing with mates. Games is too stressful for me these days tho, prefer flying around in my Spitfire in War Thudner. Might upload the ace later tho, was kinda nice.
 
Quite new to ESEA (Made account a few months ago but didn't really get to grips with the system so left it), played about 8 games so far over past couple of days. How do I work out my RWS? Is it just the most recent figure?

For example this is my current...does this mean my average RWS is 12.93? Not quite sure how it all works.

oh gawd I tried esea 2 weeks ago, i was NOT ready for it.
played 4 games, was bad 2 out of the 4. I'm not accustomed to 128 yet. I've been playing on 128 DM/retake for a week now, starting to get a hold of it. People really play nice on esea, most of them talk, some try to call. That being said, ppl get flustered/ticked off pretty fast if you don't pull your weight. I might try esea again after i get more DM time on 128 :)

MM is pretty bad again :) I'm at LE, played a match this weekend, mixture of dmg/le/1lem and I kind of dropping ppl left and right, felt more like a gold nova match

Its standard for inactive globals to come back Eagle, seen plenty now. If they solo queue thats who they play vs at least until they rank back up. Seems Valve put in some hard bias or reset to alter the previous equation. Maybe it'll pan out eventually, or not

Do at least 10 games on ESEA ideally, its always off first games. Ideally queue with someone as the comms can be zero.

RWS goes off kills and the 1 v 1 at round ends to score you, I think. So 15 ish is the last pro league player I was watching, 12.93 is great and if you got that for the whole month on average amazing
I dont think the system is considered massively accurate its just a running score, depends who you played vs and with

I played Kiwi pugs which is new and goes via steam bots but it has no skill balancing which means random teams and sometimes lobsided games and much rage. Very easy to use though, same for private scrim on popflash can be good if you know the players and can match it up
 
I want to get back into CS again , but last time I tried playing with my mate in competitive it didn't let us as the ranks have reset and it now says I need to win 1 match before it will display my rank , so played 2 games and lost them both as I was put on a team that decided the wanted to team kill both times :( ... Does this mean I won't be able to matchmake with my mate until I win a game on my own ? I was dmg before but because I haven't played for a while it's not displaying now !

Yup, You need to win either solo que or someone correct me If i am wrong but you could full 5 man to get your rank back.
